    Never gonna happen in a million god damn years. It's a HUGE fee and it'll be massive wages as well.

    I like that websites are reporting it though. It makes us seem better and more ambitious. Hopefully some of our player targets will read stories like these and get a good impression.

    Only 3 years older, far more established and better than Andy Carroll and yet (reportedly) 15m cheaper? Crazy prices!

    If you put it into that context, 20m doesn't sound as crazy and we'd still have 9.5m to spend before we actually use any of Ashley's money....Still won't get him, I'm just saying!

    He's a good player but nothing special, wouldnt want him here for anything near £20 mill!! would rather get 2 other decent players for that price

    Surely he's FAR better than any strikers we've been linked with so far? 28 goals in 32 apps in the Bundesliga. To be honest, I'm not sure which has better quality overall in either the Bundesliga or Ligue 1.

    Either way, Liverpool shelled out £35m for a striker who scored on average just over 1 in 3, Gomez scored 28 in 32 league games this season and will likely cost half of what Liverpool paid. Ludicrous if you ask me!

    Never going to happen. He was one of the best strikers in Europe last season with 39 goals in 45 games, as well as 7 goals for Germany in that time. Bayern would be silly to sell him, and if they did, he'd want to go to another CL team.
