IMHO the fixture list has been kind to us thus far. So really no point in complaining. We have not even visited tough places like Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, these are the sort of grounds that will shape our season, not whether we can win at City, Chelsea etc etc. The manner in which we lost today and in Naples was disappointing, we move on.... The fixtures are what they are we cannot do anything about them now.

To be honest, if we'd won or drawn today you'd be singing a different tune. It's up to the manager and the players to take on and adapt to the various challenges that the premier league brings. The simple truth is that we weren't good enough today. Instead of bitching about fixture congestion, we need to regroup, draw whatever positives we can from the game and do everything we can to beat Chelsea next week.

Not really, I've been pissed about these fixtures for quite some time, even when we were on a winning run.

Always a difficult game mate, easier on a Saturday than a cold Wednesday night in February but never easy.

We played them right after the international break, it's never easy playing away from home right after the international break when players just return on Thursday, especially when the away game is all the way up north meaning the team also has to be there on Friday, so all in all we just had 1 day to prepare!

They just didn't like me taking the piss out of HIAG when he threw a strop so they banned me, which is ironic because that's exactly what they are doing on here with A87.

Complete double standards, but then that is the known standard from the spurs mods.

Weird thread in my opinion...you seem to be saying that all teams are hard but also that you have been treated unfairly by having to play certain teams at certain times....for example ... you said sunderland away are a difficult game so therefore spurs series of matches have been...hull home cup, .everton away newcastle home city away away in europe united home fulham away sunderland away home in europe...8 matches in 42 days...our next set til jan 4th is lpool home, west ham cup, Southampton away wba home, stoke home, man utd away arsenal away cup...7 matches in 21 days
In March we are dye to play chelsea away, euro leagueaway , arsenal home, euro league home southampton home liverpool away thats 6 matches in 21 days...all hard as what you face
I suspect all teams in europe could dig up similar stats ...

When PNP and Spurf do it for weeks and weeks on end, bring it into every thread whether it's relevant or not so that everyone is bored rigid, you might have a point.

I wonder if A87 has twigged that you have compared him to HIAG yet?

That's exactly why I highlighted the hypocrisy from the spurs mods.

The difference with A87 though is that his comments about Spurs don't come back to bite him on the arse

    Anyway, back on topic.

I don't think we can really complain too much about the fixture list. For all the difficult games lumped together, you could argue that we then get a run of 'easier' games. Although I think the definitions are misleading. I'm not sure there is such a thing as an easy game in the PL these days.

I'm still confused as to what purpose this thread serves apart from bitching about things not being fair as if the Premier League has some kind of vendetta against Arsenal.
