Chandhok and David Croft reckon it's a racing incident. 50/50

That was 60-40 Buttons fault imo

Alonso gave him space and Button still hit him. Same as Hamilton-Webber incident imo.

    That should be a penalty.

Why is it a racing incident when Alonso gave button room and Button caused an avoidable accident?

Button went over apex and made a mistake. His fault but not purposely

Maybe. Would have been hard for Button to brake any harder though. He was well alongside.

Its now under investigation, that normally means something'll be given. Eventful race for Button! Safety car in this lap.

Not the same. Button didn't come from behind the way Hamilton did. He was alongside Alonso going into the braking zone. I don't think Alonso did anything wrong, but I'm not sure Button did either.

Yeah. Whatever goes on behind him he just sails on ahead. Luck's not the cause of that but he is lucky.

In those conditions they will lways give a little bit of leeway. No clue how they do this anyway. No windscreen to speak of, no wipers. How they are able to drive that fast in those conditions will always be beyond me...

I would like to see a Button onboard to get a better view of whether Button was at fault, but at the moment I can't understand the incident. Was Button asleep at the braking zone?

I don't begrudge Vettel the WDC. But please make him work for it! At least Schumacher had competent opposition from Hill and Hakkinen before he went on to become near invincible.

Once again Vettel is pwning the race, going faster and faster while the rest scrabble about behind him.
