Bring back Barmby and Pearson. Or the club may implode.

    http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2012/05/opinion-the-disastrous-dismissals-of-adam-and-nicky/

An article by one of the leading lights of CTWD. Please note the CTWD group are not anti-Allam in any way and also anyone who disagreed with this article is a mega cxxt.

This sort of article is fairly typical by Ambernectar standards and now they want to work alongside Mr Allam in order to point out to him where he is going wrong.

    With friends like these..........

In fact skimming through it it looks like a typically excellent article from AN. They know what they're on about over there.

To be honest I'd rather have Adam back than Nick. We went massively backwards in a short space of time after Nigel left.

Such a disaster eh? Sacking poor old Nick and Adam like that, look where we ended up. You should be ashamed Mr Allam, taking the mighty tigers to where they are today.

That's about the time your new found friends & fellow conspiracy theorists were referring to our owners as a "cancer" "Egyptian ****s" "etc etc etc I could go on but the truth really grinds with those who abused them then, & who now abuse those who are merely critical of our owner's proposal to change our name.

Funny isn't it how the PL can cloud people's perceptions, change people's opinions, discard people's principles & values & in doing so create memory loss & hypocrites.

Just saying. Enjoy your day & weekend everybody x x

Do you think he sacked Nick B in his wisdom then? And he just knew Brucey was sculling around out there? Or was it all worked out in advance?

No need to answer - the Doctator acted in petulance and then just got lucky.....

Are you one of those who rubbishes all our old managers and chairmen regardless?

Adam Pearson transformed this club from basket case club to Premier League in waiting.

This was of course at a time when the current owner had never heard of us and didn't put a penny in while we were flatlining at the bottom of league 2.

The ones who kept the club in the league and in existence were the fans basically, as local business had by and large turned their back on us.

Hindsight is wonderful. Reading the comments at the end, full of doom and gloom, Allams are clueless.
Look at us now, eighteen months later, possibly our best ever manager, playing great football (usually) and not looking out of place in the Premiership. Great times. The futures bright, the future's black and amber!

When Assem Allam bought the club we were £30 million in debt. We are now £100 million and according to Assem Allam he has run out of money. Last season, the one in which we got automatic promotion saw our income (excluding player sales) rise by £35,000 whilst our stock of goods fell by about £200,000.

The question which should interest Hull City fans is what happens when the money runs out or his family want it back.

Whatever happened to the 2010/11 frugality?

We appear to be leaking money like never before.

Come back Bartlett- all is forgiven!

We were 8th when he took over and we finished 8th. He had no money but maintained the league position and we finished way above where the media expected. How cam you call that going backwards? I agree I'd rather have Adam back (we obviously don't need Nick now we have SB, much as I feel sorry for the shabby way he was treated) but don't understand your comment.

I'm talking performance, it was evident even to Stevie Wonder. Ive said all along I don't agree with the shoddy way he was sacked, but I do agree he perhaps deserved it.

I think the month of March that season has seriously distorted people's views on Barmby's reign. Chester, Hobbs, Rosenior and Koren all got injured that month, they were probably our best players at the time and we couldn't replace them. Dudgeon got injured too but he wasn't really a regular then anyway. The cover was Liam Cooper, Sonny Bradley, Garcia at right back and Evans ended up having to play attacking mid instead of Koren. The cover was appalling. It clearly affected us. If you doubt what I'm saying go look at the results and see the massive difference it made for yourself. Chester and Koren came back in early April and we finished the season really well. Barmby wasn't able to sign anyone, had he been able to bring in the players he wanted we'd have have a much better chance of coping with a few injuries when they all came at once.

Before that month, everyone was waxing lyrical about how much better we were under Barmby than under Pearson (I think that's another myth to be honest, I'm just highlighting the difference in opinion one month made). How Fryatt had stopped playing within himself and Koren was relishing finally playing a central role. Barmby was credited with these 'masterstrokes'.
