    No matter what the outcome of this season if we could do the double over Liverpool it will be yet another milestone achieved.

    When supporters of clubs like Leicester and Leeds claim City are a tin-pot club that never achieved anything it's worth remembering how our recent history over the last five years stacks up against theirs. In that time we've beaten most of this country's top clubs in competitive league matches and for one week at least were jointly at the top of the of the Premier League.

    That's more impressive than saying you support a club that hasn't been above the second tier for a generation.

    That very much applies to the Liverpool defence without a doubt.


    As for the Jan 1st game. Liverpool get a days less rest as they play on sunday 29th @ Chelsea (sky game) and that comes after a boxing day away game @ Man City.

    It could well be a Very Happy New Years Day for the Tiger Nation.!!!!
