Do members of the Chelsea Supporters Trust engage in anti-roman campaigns and demand meetings and specific commercially sensitive information from him? I have a sneaky feeling that wouldn't work well at all.
Fair play to them for that. Maybe you could take some advice from them and other similar groups. For next time. I think you should accept that you are going to see the words "Hull Tigers" on your William Hill betting slips as from next season and move on. TWT
I accept nothing of the sort, we are currently Hull City AFC and we'll do everything possible to make sure that remains the case.
Sky Bet Championship ‏@SkyBetChampo Everyone here at SkyBetChampo are fully supporting @NoToHullTigers s campaign to keep their 109 year old name weve signed the petition.
I hope those other groups/individuals who support us also let the FA know. Are CTWD looking at that aspect, OLM?
We've been copied on many emails that have been sent to the FA by fans of other clubs, along with supporters trusts etc.
You're right Stanley of course. I just feel in the long run we'd be better off with new owners (preferably with deep pockets, at a minimum with a better awareness of the football business world), as the incumbent's judgement is severely flawed, thus could make things worse in the future should he stay. We can but dream.
Most clubs fans would cut their arm off to get the kind of financial backing that AA has provided! I'll give Ken Bates a call, hes looking for a new club to "invest" in, maybe he'd be better for you
This ha cause to be known as Hull United. Now THAT is a name. OLM those songs are gash, everywhere we go everyone will know is fine how it is, let the FA know sounds like something a group of 5 year olds would sing on te playground at milk break conducted by suited and booted.
I'm happy with Allam ta, I disagree with him about the name change, but about the rest... He's mad as a bag of cats, I prefer it that way, the bullshit he comes out with and his pure arrogance never makes for a dull moment. The way he dealt with you chappies over the NP fiasco was ace! When he told supporters they could die I didn't take offence, I just saw the rambles of a lunatic and thought it was so crack brained it was hilarious, much in the way of Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin. I'd rather a mad man say what he's got to say than a dreary old fart drawl some boring facade of "I understand and sympathise with supporters concerns but we've reached a conclusion that this is the way forwards bla bla bla" when behind that mask he's thinking "what a bunch of ****s". You can die whenever you want, just **** off - brilliant, straight from the heart and straight to the point.
