Has he gone full circle? Bus strop! Star man Taarabt storms away from Craven Cottage as QPR lose 6-0 Adel Taarabt was seen sprinting away in his QPR tracksuit after storming out of Craven Cottage as his team were humiliated 6-0 at Fulham. Following a furious half-time bust-up with boss Neil Warnock, the midfielder - stripped of the captaincy after Joey Bartonâs arrival - showered and left the ground. He headed towards the Crabtree pub in Fulham before Rangers supporters, many of whom left when the team conceded a fourth goal inside an hour, approached him on Fulham Palace Road near a bus stop. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2044505/Adel-Taarabt-storms-away-QPR-lose-6-0.html please log in to view this image Warnock refused to deny their half-time spat and would not comment when asked if he planned to discipline Taarabt. Rangers boss Warnock, said: âIâve no idea what happened. I donât think you can blame Adel Taarabt today. Youâve got to look at why we conceded six goals. âYouâre going to get days when Adel throws his toys out the pram. If youâre not bothered about being subbed... Iâd rather have players like that, me.â
I think this is spot on. But just when I think I've moved on from my love of this genius, someone posts videos of his goals on the other Taarabt thread and I start to have second thoughts...
Spot on. I'll always be thankful for him, he has given me some of the best Individual bits of skill I've ever witnessed but I wouldn't risk having him back, for me harmony and attitude of the team means more to me than AT's individual brilliance. Sorry Adel, you need a real attitude change and then maybe you can fulfil some of the potential you have but I can't see that happening with us, too much history.
I would love to see him back at rangers for 1 reason only, to see queens reaction on here, he will have nightmares
I sincerely have no problem with Adel coming back ............. my only concern is that even though he has set the world alight for our team in the past, what concerns me the most is that if he was to fly back to our team, the plane would be over-loaded, Adel would be trying to tell the pilots what to do, the stewardesses would be going awol for Adel would not be wanting to follow the emergency flight procedures, hence causing grief to all his fellow passengers. So as brilliant as he WAS .......... he is too much disruption for our current pilot in TF, not to mention Bartender Redknapp and his team of barstewards. In case you didn't know, our team is airborne, Currently flying at high altitude, One little bit of wind turbulence could cause us to lose quite a lot of speed, which would alter our current flight plan. The passengers ( fans ) would not be pleased. He's carrying too much weight and his suitcases bare not resemblance to our club colours. For the sake of all on board, passenger ejected.
I agree with most of the above: It would be upsetting to have him back; although, IF he were to come back and knuckle down playing a few games in the stiffs AND showed a completely different attitude, then, why not give him a chance? Although, if I were HR and/or TF, I would stay clear.
I think we would fit into our current team because Harold has a real solid base going I don't believe most stuff on here re Adel . He made it clear that he wanted a move in the close season because like any other player he wanted top football . I don't actually think there is a rift at all Harold was fair and Adel didn't want to drop a league I think Harold was right to send any player home late for pre season and think there a couple of players told that until they or their agents get them sorted no point in being involved Where all this ill feelings has come from is our fans own heads He is on record as saying that QPR is his home but we went down and Harold wasn't playing him It sounds like everyday football at any club to me He gets that shirt on again and he will be welcomed if he comes back and is then selected These players on loan are our players This campaign is being done Harold's way with a aim to get promoted I think Taarabt would be an asset and if successful we all know football changes I still think Remy will return as well
Agreed, I think everyone on here would like nothing more than to see Adel back and firing for us. Look how Barton turned around. I can tell you I was totally against Barton coming back to pick up a weekly pay cheque but the way he has applied himself has been second to none. I think Harry's outlook towards Joey differs much to Adel. To me, that could be the main issue here. Anyway, stranger things have happen and as a seasoned QPR fan, I keep my eyes wide open and expect the unexpected turn of events on a regular basis.
Not at all brother. Do you not read any of my posts at all. for the record, he WAS amazing in the NPC...and just for you, I said he wont cut it in the Prem!! I still stick by that !! If he comes back and puts in the hard graft in the stiffs and shows complete attitude change, then he deserves a run out in the NPC. I personally dont think it will or should happen after our CAPTAIN deserted us when we needed him..do you? I'll post accordingly & IF he plays well then I'll say so (asi did against West Ham) If he is s**t then I'll say that too Sorry, but i really cant make it any simpler than that...ok?
So we are all agreed then. Adel Taraabt will be welcomed back on the condition that he is obedient to the management team, respects his peers and demonstrates he is a team player. The Joey Barton way, one might observe......
