Well you see, Hull are currently 12th best team in the country, so yes I think we'd make the top 20. There's enough good clubs in Europe to fill the CL spots and make it more of a competition. The elite is what the CL is all about, why not restrict it to elite. There's absolutely no need to fill it with dross to 'make up the numbers'.

Citycal , you pissed your pants at my comment, well I've just checked Hull city average attendances during the 90's best 6000 and in 1996 and 1997 you averaged just over 3500 . As I thought your just glory hunters , your wee village should have stuck to rugby league , when I grew up Wigan v Hull was always the big game with the oval ball !!!

You never mentioned anything about averages during a particular decade. You said, and I quote, 'don't recall you getting 20000 when stuck in third /fourth divisions.' Which we did. FACT.

Also probably just as competitive as their namesake.

I only played the one game, whilst I was out there with the Army.

'We' played a contingent of Royal Navy lads and Royal Marines so yes it probably was just as competitive.

I think we got beat, I can't honestly remember.

I also scored my only ever hat trick against an RAF side out there. Rumour had it that it was enough to have the proper Celtic consider signing me.
I was obviously better than the donkeys they had at the time.

That's probably because nobody in Scotland sees the point in supporting any other team.

    But your point is irrelevant.

They got through qualification. They're clearly not a bad side.

Most of the top leagues in European countries have the chance to have a pop at the Champions League. Celtic qualify so why should that right be taken from them?

It's like saying that sides promoted from the Championship shouldn't be in the Premier league because there are better clubs in Spain.

So there is a specific reason as to why you've got to moan when the SPL is mentioned?

I have expressed my thoughts and opinions on the Silly Pointless League, I'd hardly call it moaning.

Why do you feel the need to try and provoke me Andrew?

    Why?

Samaras is a main stay in the Greece side that qualify for every major tournament if you think Danny Graham is better than that , its obvious your quite happy watching Sunderland and Spurs rejects who you think are world beaters . Aluko was just a run of the mill player at Aberdeen and Rangers in this poor spl , how did he end up at a world class club like Hull ? What is the biggest game in Hull history ????

Aye you're probably right. Just glancing at their website and you can buy match day tickets from numerous locations around Scotland.

One of them being Livingston. Is it no wonder things went tits up for Livingston FC.

They also have club shops in even more locations. Dundee and Inverness for example.

A cynic would argue that Celtic are purposefully stunting other clubs attempts to develop a fan base, therefore preventing them from challenging their dominance.

You could therefore argue that they don't give a **** about Scottish football, just themselves.

If this were the case, then their own shortsightedness would be a big factor in why the SPL is such a joke league and the reason they just make up the numbers in the champions league.

    Very good point.

Rangers are just as bad in all honesty.

When I was in the Army all the Sweaties supported Rangers(80%) or Celtic(20%) and I don't think any of them were from Glasgow.

I bet those two have the highest percentage of plastics than any other clubs in world football.

Your abusing scottish club who had the same fan base as yourselves 10 years ago , just because your club is in the epl you can't slag clubs as if your some kind of experts. You averaged 3500 less than twenty years ago and your telling clubs what to do and what not to do !!!!

Samaras proved at Man City that he's nowhere near good enough for the EPL.

54 games yielded 8 goals & the City fans labelled him "the Greek Tragedy"

    Sorry mate, but he's gash.
