I'm not normally one for hopes and dreams, but after the stressful week I've had I could do with something to cheer me up. What is the ideal scenario you'd like to see this summer at Cardiff? For me, Martin O'Neil would be announced as our new manager next week, whilst at the same press conference it is also announced that Bellamy has signed a multi year deal with us (regardless of cost, he really is THAT important to us this season). A few days later, reports emerge that Craig has been chatting to a few old friends, most notably Bothroyd. After the capture of Earnie on a free from the trees, Jay is persuaded to resign for us. Can you imagine the damage they would do in a 4-3-3 with Craig and Earnie buzzing round for all the flick ons and deft touches? AWESOME. More news to emerge suggests that because he is unhappy playing second fiddle at Man City and is also very good friends with Craig, Shay Given is considering a move here. All we would need to do would be strengthen the LB position and sort out the midfield, and we've once again got a squad to get us "there or thereabouts" next season. Maybe if O'Neill could spare some fairy dust and a few more sensible signings in January, and we could do it next year. KTF!
That works for me Luke I posted the same thought re Bellamy/Bothroyd In addition, I'd like to see the Jacks reinforce the rear axle on their 'Premier Bandwagon'. Can't see it taking the strain much longer and I'd hate for any of them to get hurt (calm down cousins, just kidding )
That works for me too! Could definitely do with some good news coming out of the CCS at the moment. Would love Jay to be a part of it, not so bothered about M O'Neil. Think any of the top candidates for the job could make a fist of it in that situation. Im hoping that there is already a similar master plan in place by the board, there must be surely!
this is my ideal scenario, we sign malky mackay as boss. no really, the watford fans on the other thread said he was destined for geatness, and would be snapped up by a top premiership team if we didnt. the only problem was the issue of whether we are big enough a club for him still, you cant argue with finishing 16th and 14th in consecutive seasons, we can look forwards to having the next fergie!
We'd have no chance of getting Bellamy then Swamp because Super Malky, apparently, would NEVER sign hm
