Predicting a win then, JWM? Close 1 - 0 to us. Confidence is high and forests form is in a bit of a dip. Murphy to score just before half time.
Back down to earth with a bounce, 2-0 Forest. Although our away form is currently VERY good, DDDWW, I fully expect Forest to end up top 6. They have spent a good whack, and have a very good manager at this level. Also, I can't see them losing many at home. McGoldrick has netted 1 away goal for us aswell I think I'm right in saying, which is in desperate need of increasing. Very interested to see how Mick will line up. I expected Hunt to start the last game, and he was an unused sub! I think our lineup COULD now offer a sense of the unexpected, which may help us cement our top 10 position over the seasons course. 4 wins in row, US? REALLY?
Asked about the forthcoming Nottingham Forest match DJ Campbell says that Ipswich will play well in their 2-1 Win... Shame about the 2 yellow cards!
A lot of confidence from people going into this awkward fixture I have to say !!!! Forest spent £5 million on two players if memory serves me right this summer, and have other financial backing! That said, they haven't won at home in four............. don't ask why, I've just got a very bad feeling about this game.
Its their current (relatively) poor form matched against our good form that's fuelling the confidence. It shows how difficult it is to breach the play-offs though, even a win that would put us above the team currently in 5th would likely only see us go up one place.
Jamie Mackie is a player i rate very very highly, he was treated disgracefully by QPR when they got up, so very nervous about him, Plus I just find its a bit of a jinx ground for us, something always goes wrong there. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I'm going for a 0-0 which would be a good result, surely we can't win 4 in a row, when was the last time we did that??
The club record for consecutive wins is 9 from 28th November 1981 to 23rd January 1982 so we have a few more to get before we can match that!
There you go again banging on about history! I'm now off to celebrate getting beaten in the FA cup 50 years ago!
a hard away day. as already said forest not in top nick so we can go there with some hope. i still think a draw will be a good result and will be more than happy. but that said defensively we're tight,we're in fine fettle and could potentially nick a win. it'll be a single goal in it if we win. i'm going for a 1-1. reid for forest. berra for us.
The last time we won 4 on the bounce was only two seasons ago (between 31/1/12 and 18/2/12) As for the weekends game, i honestly think we are due a spanking. We always tend to have at least one good hiding, and i think it will be this weekend.
