Naymer has looked off the pace since joining Barca , funny he waits to find his feet against us. How bad we were , you can't help praising a top world class player that he is . Some of our players were shown up tonight . Matthews , Ambrose , Ledley , nobody got pass marks
Football is a funny game. Munich could have been hammered against MC last night. Problem is people are like sheep. They don't think for themselves. Barca could meet any team and destroy them, Munich included. Btw you lot will be following us in the CL for a long long time. Better pick an EPL team to follow as some of your brighter sevconians have already done. They saw the writing on the wall. Our nightmare only lasted 90 minutes. Yours will last for years. No lease back......won't mention sale......lol. C'mon Laxey and a Celtic Asset Management. green, Whyte and Celtic.......FECKIN Brilliant
Hmmm. Virgil would get pass marks in my book. For the first half without him it could have been six at HT. Big Frazer not to blame and stopped one or two. Lustig was ok. Reality check for us. As to getting the cheque book out.......Finnbogason, not one of Europes top strikers said he did not want to come to the SPL. This season will not help. We hammer our nearest competitors in the league and then tonight. As to SEVCO, before anyone says it, in their present state they would fare no better than hearts or well.
Man city finishing second with 15 points , Napoli out with 12 points , is it not a case the stronger teams getting better and the pot 4 teams getting weaker and now have no chance of qualifying and even giving the better teams a decent game .
i for one am glad that when the alarm went at half three i thought we would get skelped so turned it off and got another 2 hours sleep in
Harry, I thought Virgil van Dijk was excellent tonight. I also thought Carl Mikael Lustig did well and I had some sympathy for Adam James Matthews who, after all, was only back after being out injured for quite a spell. Ambrose, however, was completely clueless as a defender and no-none else got pass marks in my view but given that Celtic were up against one of the top clubs in the world, with individual players costing more than the whole of the Celtic team put together, this sort of dreaded result was always a possibility ... albeit avoided til now.
The biggest disappointment I had was the number of armchair Celtic fans that could make fun and laugh and sneer throughout the match . I have to say I lost my humour button .
We've played Barca 10 times in the past 10 years with the worst result, prior to last night, being a 2 goal defeat. A humping was probably overdue
Did you write this on the flight back, or are you staying in Barcelona for a few days to share war stories with your Catalan brethren?
