Completely agree, we need to play a strong team. We want to win the group. Although a draw guarantees that, if we don't put out a strong side there is a decent chance we will lose and then could finish second. Play the first team but bring off Ozil, Ramsey and Flamini/Giroud once we are comfortable.
Well we play City on Saturday at 12:45, and they have rested nearly all their first team players tonight against Bayern Munich. So if we do play most of our key plays against Napoli, then that for me gives City an even bigger edge on Saturday.
Tough call for us on that front. We don't want to lose this game and it's unlikely we'd get a tonking, but equally the game against City is probably more important. So I'd rest some key players like Ozil, Ramsey, Cazorla, Wilshere.
Can't believe Pellegrini didn't realise that just one more goal would have seen them top the group last night. He'd rather have a slightly less tired XI on Saturday against us and face one of Real, PSG, Atletico or Barcelona in the CL last 16?!
It is vital for Arsenal to get a point tonight. If we finish top, we potentially (probably) face one of: Leverkuson, Galatasaray, Olympiakos, Schalke, Zenit or AC Milan. If we qualify, but come 2nd we potentially (probably) face one of: Real, PSG, Bayern, Athletico or Barca. Also highlights what muppets Man Citeh are for not bringing on Aguero and going for the extra goal.
Interesting that apparently there was NO contact between Higuain and Arsenal over the summer, http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/1...ummer-reveals-napoli-striker-gonzalo-higuain/
@arseblog: Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud. Walcott on the bench, again.
Strong line up. I guess we have to really, given Wenger's comments about needing to go into this game trying to win it. Thought Walcott might start this one though.
Seriously, Henry has been ****ing brilliant in this build up. So much insight into the club and our players. Great to watch.
Would definitely have played Theo & Monreal for this one. Good that Flam & Arteta are in midfield, and that Ramsey is getting a rest.

Really good analysis of Giroud's contribution to the team from Henry, Redknapp and Neville Kyle take note
The build up has been really good for this game, the analysis is very technical. The combination of Neville, Henry and Redknapp works really well, i'd like to see the trio more! And Wenger explained the decision to keep Walcott out when asked about it by Henry (who obviously reads this forum given everyone else has been thinking Walcott would start!).
