I did post at the start of the season that I belive Moyes only suceeded in getting Rooney to stay for this, his first season knowing full well that they effed up in the Summer transfer market and were unlikely to find an alternative striker in time. Undoubtedly Rooney is playing well, but i think he is playing very much for himself and is concious that he can add value to himself with a good season in the PL (shining star in an otherwise troubled side etc etc) plus a good showing in the World Cup. Could be wrong, but i think he will be gone at the end of the season. Remind me again, who are the Everton strikers ???????
Rooney can now get his desired pay rise and his promise of future ambition by the club now that Fergies gone, Moyes's job depends mainly on him and he has been Utds best player this season. Moyes will build his own team around Rooney after getting rid of the deadwood.
This one! I pick this one! I think part of the reason wanted out was Fergie, I'm not sure of there was a rift or it had something to do with Rooney being forced to play back in the midfield, but Moyes has certainly got the best out of Rooney this season. I would imagine if Rooney is plying well and is happy he'll stay at United and break some records.
Rooney is doing well for you this season but you would do well to cash in down before his nicotine-fuelled body breaks down. So I hope you hold onto Rooney. #fivemoreyears
Well 90% of your time is spent aggravating Matth, so you just spout random things that will set him off regardless or not if they're true.
