Would be a laugh though if he goes up a league and scores goals in a QPR match that stops them
    getting promoted.

"Why would it be a laugh ??"

So Arry has another season to develop more Academy kids for us.
And act as gulag for Ade and BAE.

Ah I see. I must be the only Spurs fan who would raise a glass to Harry when he brings QPR up and has improved Tommy Carroll in the same way he did with Andros.

"I must be the only Spurs fan who would raise a glass to Harry when he brings QPR up"

Some may say it is providence (I recall a couple of supporters from that league posting
their indignation here about Spurs loaning players to the squad QPR already has) .

QPR have been good for the Spurs kids in recent times while they are in that league.
Any chance of Spurs getting loan rapport going with the Os (they look they will be promoted) ??

Carroll's one of those players who does more than the stats suggest. Modric was the same and I think that he could do a similar job for us, albeit not as well.
Massive potential and I'll be fuming if we sell him without giving him a chance.

Who cares about the stats? I think Danny Blanchflower only scored about 15 goals for us in 10 years but we would have been a much lesser team without him (Correct me THFC61 if I'm wrong on 15 goals). We are crying out for someone of Blanchflower's ilk, a deep lying playmaker with vision and skill, and we have exactly that in young Tom Carroll. I can understand loaning him out (just) and only just because he is under Redknapp's watchful eye, but next season he needs to be the second name on the team sheet (Sandro is the first).

What did I tell you my friend, vision, superb passing and instrumental to leading QPR back to the premier league!

    <ok> to both posts.

To have Carroll in-between all our power and pace would definitely improve us as an attacking team. The worry is that whoever our next manager is, may not rate Carroll or know enough about him and he may need to leave us to carry on his potential.

Another disappointing performance from our under 21 side last evening when going down 5-3 at Fulham"s training ground. It looks a close score but the better side won and this Fulham squad will take some beating at this level.

We were all over the place in the first half and Fulham were well worth their early 3 goal lead. Basic errors were punished and a few heads dropped and Miles in our goal was left very exposed at times. Whatever was said at half time had an effect as we come out a different side and amazingly managed to get back on level terms. Having done that we didn't have the experience of knowing whether to stick or twist, got caught and got punished for our naivety with Fulham snatching two goals right at the death.

This current side lacks creativity, has a lot of inexperience and whereas last season, we knew we we were watching potential first teamers, this season it is difficult to see just who has a realistic chance of maybe making it with us. There isn't the maturity that last seasons players had and whilst the squad remains young and patience will be given, some do need to kick on soon otherwise they will be moved on.

Meanwhile, the recent publicity given to the Fulham academy seems fully justified as they look an excellent side with some real stand out players.

He wasn't there last night. The player I like is Soloman Sambou who came on for the last half hour. Loads of PL scouts there watching him and also the guy who scored a hat trick for Fulham.

Makes you wonder why they're not using them to freshen up the first team a little. Performances have improved under Meulensteen, but results haven't.
Chucking them into a relegation battle might be too much of a test for them though, I guess.

"This current side lacks creativity, has a lot of inexperience and whereas last season, we knew we we were watching potential first teamers"

So further back in the pipeline there is not the continual creativity in CM.
Fair enough. The Academy pipeline is not fully up and running yet.

But arguably, in a "nothing ventured nothing gained" vein, perhaps some of the current U18 CM
should be given a run-out in the U21s as and when commitments allow.

Cameron Lancaster has done his knee ligs, out for 6 months at least. Shame so early in his career.
