One of my brother's mates played for Pompey. I actually do feel sorry for their lads, our team is mostly pro and been together for ages, theirs is not. Plus several thousand home fans were only making their day harder, you can hardly criticise their players for that.

I did wonder earlier what was bigger, the gap between Saints/Pompey first teams, or U18 teams. It's probably close.

Read the IMDB summary and it's not a film I would ever watch.

Whaaaat? It's awesome, you've gotta watch it. It's a bit geeky, I'll give it that. Very geeky in fact.

Jason Dodd said that Calum Chambers and Harrison Reed were in the dressing room before the match last night...how encouraging must that be for youngsters to see U18 players from last season in and around the first team. They also had Sam Gallagher as another example for them. In an earlier article about our Academy, it was mentioned that they try and let even the eight year olds see the path ahead of them by taking them to watch the seniors train. Mauricio and Nicola were there last night...the kids can see that the people who matter are taking them seriously. This is the Academy to be in without doubt.

I would have thought you'd prefer the strap on knife, Choccy.

I'd say he was a combination of gluttony, if copious amounts of beer falls into that category, leading to sloth, at matches anyway.

Away from football, he is quite the expert on antique literature, you maybe surprised to learn.

A lot more bad apples required for accuracy, Choccy.

That doesn't make him any less a twat. In fact, shows that he must have a brain under his blue wig and at some point be aware of what he looks like & how he acts. He's clearly insane.

Could have all of Pompey's dodgy owners playing the dwarfs, but I'm not sure they'd all fit on a single stage.

Antique literature? Cup Programmes? Like most that's all they have to fall back on, history, the future? That's so, so at the most.
