Apart from seeing City win 2-0 at the Victoria Road ground in 1949 I have never seen Hull City AFC beat Stoke since. So as to not influence the outcome I am not going this coming weekend. (I don't know if they have beaten Stoke in recent years, Pulis seemed to have the magic over City.)
Saw us beat them at the old Victoria Ground 0-1 in the mid 80's - Stan McEwan I think or Bobby Doyle. Anyway, Stoke are my most loathed team on the planet and I hope we smash them 9 or 10 nil, but 1-0 will do to shut those ****er fans up with their Delilah ****. Also remember the chants of "we'll never see you again" last time we played them in the prem. Tossers, the lot of them. UTT
We beat them 1 - 0 in the old division 3 at Boothferry Park in the late 80's or early 90's with the "prolific" Paul Hunter scoring the winner! We also won 3-0 at their place under PT with goals from John Parkin and Darryl Duffy (Myhill saved 2 penalties that day) And we beat them 2 - 1 in the Prem with Venegoor of Hesselink scoring the winner. There's 3 wins off the top of my head. Can't remember any more but there probably have been
Shame you missed Hull City 2 beat Stoke City 1 in PL 2009/10 season when Oli got the winner. JVOH got the other. Great game. Pulis carried on like he had a hot poker up his backside for most of the game. Lol.
Yes. Well we can sing to them "GOING DOWN WITH THE MACKEMS" If the game is going to plan as well. Most of the bottom teams will have played before we kick off. Hull City win puts us on 21 pts.
Just had a look on a couple of stoke forums and its free travel and only £20 notes for match ticket, Should be a good turn out and a good bit of banter.
There used to be a lot of banter between City and Stoke fans last time we came up. I think it stemmed from Championship rivalry in the promotion season. TBH I thought it would have been renewed this season.
They've only taken a reduced allocation, we've put an additional block on sale to our fans in N3/N4. Poor effort from the Stoke gobshites.
So much for Stoke fans wanting rid of Tony Pulis. It would be so funny if Pulis somehow managed to keep CP up and Mark Hughes took Stoke down. Lmao at that i would.
