    United's stars spent Tuesday afternoon visiting children at local hospitals and spreading some Christmas cheer to those who won't be able to enjoy the festive period at home.

    The entire squad was in attendance at the children's wards of the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Freeman Hospital and North Tyneside General Hospital, meeting patients and handing out presents.

    Really great when they do that, just imagine how much it could lift the spirit of the kids that aren't able to get to the games, when they finally get to see their heroes in person.

    Fantastic, really fantastic. Just think of how much pleasure they've given to the kids by doing that. Something most of them will remember for the rest of their lives.

    The thing is, all the guys seem to have enjoyed it.

    Sammy looks rather intelligent with the specs on doesn't he.

    It's really good to see the players doing something like this.
    Just a shame, that the visits and photos wont make it to the local press, like they should.
