I like the idea of McCormack, I think his style of play would be well suited to the PL. I believe he has just extended his contract with Leeds, so no doubt if he was to be sold, it would involve a hefty fee.
He's certainly the real deal. I'd go for Griffiths from Wolves...fast young and a brilliant left foot. Scores goals from 25 yards on free kicks. Got 12 goals already this season (Doyle 3), led the Scottish League for Hibs last year with 28. Goal machine...better than Rhodes IMO. The perfect compliment for Sagbo strength on the ball.
I think his initial touch or control can sometimes let him down, but he's a young lad and learning, and I really hope we keep hold of him for a long long time, he's really growing into that position well.
I think he's getting better each game. If he continues like this I can see his release clause being triggered.
Yep lets hope Graham picks up some real form after getting his gola and overshadows old Saggers. Then hopefully Sunderland will recall Graham and we've a loan spot for a football player
Sagbo in most games has shown the skill with the ball in tight spots that he showcased last night. In the main his first touch is excellent and he rarely wastes a ball when he receives it in tight spots. He is also strong and hard to push off the ball. And last night showed that he has a powerful shot on him. Beginning to be a real find. Pleased for him, Bruce and the team that we are all seeing this, can only do his confidence a great deal of good. On an aside really pleased for Alex Bruce another great display by him and of course was unlucky not to win a penalty. Saw the game via an excellent stream (for a change) and thought it was an intriguing and a watchable game of cat and mouse from which City deserved to come away with all 3 points. Only in the second half for a 5 min spell did Swansea put any real pressure on City. Confidence is increasing that City can stay up in me and I think many others and not just City supporters.
Brady is capable of playing up front with Sagbo. Sagbo reminds me of Marlon King, the way he's capable of holding the ball up & has a firce shot. He's actually a technically better player than King and most probably nicer with the ladies.
I've been very impressed with Sagbo recently. He seemed like a useful player when we first bought him, a worthwhile gamble, but so far this season he's defied my expectations. When I saw him in pre-season he looked decent, albeit fairly one dimensional, however so far this season he's proved to be a well-rounded player, strong both physically and technically. Let's just hope he can stay fit and continue on this good run of form.
Completely agree on both players. Brady should have come on instead of Koren for Graham. Sagbo is very King-like in his movement, has the same hold up and dribbling skills, and maybe an even stronger shot...as shown by his rocket yesterday. No idea how nice he is with the ladies but I'm sure he's getting a lot of attention
I love Sagbo. He seems committed to doing his best, and gives 100% all the time. He's a great hold-up player, he's strong, intelligent on the ball and makes the right decisions more than not. He seems to really be playing for his right to be a Premier League player and I think he's only going to get better with the right strike partner. I think a small, faster, more agile partner needs to be with him up there for him to supply as well as feed off because he's having to drift wide or come deep all the time rather than being in the box where he's dangerous. P.S. Did anybody see his unbelievable Tekkerz skill in the 2nd half? Brilliant.
Didn't read the previous posts and see that it'd already been shown 2/3 times! Oops. My bad. And cheers mate!
