Hull had nothing to offer and we struggled, i know we are better than that so it comes down to laudrup at the end of the day...We should be where everton are now at the very least but laudrup just want to survive this season and put european football at the top of our agenda to try and impress one of the big clubs before he leaves the club.

We're crap at crossing, corners, defending set pieces and defence goes to pieces to often but hey we're 10th in the league so if we can improve a bit on those frailties and with a fully fit team maybe the second half of the season will be like the second half of most of our games much better ?
It would be nice to have a good giraffe like Peter Crouch to aim for in the box to.

In fairness, when was the last time we were good at crosses, or heading the ball, or defending set pieces, or any of that ****. I have forgotten the last time I felt comfortable in those aspects of our play.

I know some feel its ML to blame, and to a certain degree you are right, but.....a hell of a lot of the blame has to land at the feet of th eplayers on the pitch.

Last night when I seen the team sheet, I seen a team that should have beaten hull, or at least made a damn good go of it. So why didn't they? Did our tactics change from what we have played of late? No, so thats not the managers fault, did our players look disinterested, and make mistake after mistake giving the ball away, yes. So again not the managers fault.

Some have also said he can't motivate the players, well based on some of our games this season, those claiming that do not know too much about what they are talking about, else we would not have refered to ourselves as a second half team on a number of occasions this season.

Our first half performances have been shocking, yet we tend to come better in the second half, not always to our best, but better we get, that is the managers job, so why is it we start poorly? Is it our players thinking they are better than they are?

My best guess is just that, that the players are the ones to blame, some are showing the fight, others are not, and unless 11 players are willing to get involved 100% we will play poorly. We haven't had just the 1 weak link this season, we have had too many weak links in games. You only had to see ML's face last night to realise he is not happy with hat he is seeing, and its as if he doesn't know exactly why the players are not bringing their A game. There seems to be a good team spirit, but on the pitch its laziness.

My only criticism of ML right now, is his constant naming of JDG in the starting 11, when he is on the pitch, I feel we are a man light. And it showed last night how much difference it made when players are willing to work for the space, something JDG refused to do all the time he was on the pitch, I was screaming at him pretty much all night. Mind you I was screaming at Pablo and Nahan all night too, Pablo with some laxs passes, and Dyer, who I know some say played well, but sorry, he was crap. Still not willing to use his pace, and attempts to take on the defender, he has the skill of a 12 year old when it comes to one on ones, yet he still continues to try the silky skills, of which he has none, needs to get back to using his pace, and if his pace isn't there, than am sorry, time to get off the pitch.

Didn't the goalies make the same number of saves. Therefore, you could say we offered as much as you did. I tell you what though, if ever Swansea rugby union team are short on players you could lend Chico and was it Dyer to them.

Dont you think that if we play consistently like we know we can play then we would be up there with everton??? I bloody know we would be, And was not the majority of fans expecting us to be up there before the season started..you have to be at the games to comment on something you cant appreciate kangaroo and not make silly comments sitting in australia. I have never seen the liberty so quiet even though its more or less full. We have underachieved big time and have the players to challenge 5th.8th place...the fans that go know it but the fans who cant go won't see that side of things...

I agree with Dai here, and he's not stating anything many of us already know, though the atmosphere lately in the Liberty is of concern!.............<ok>

And yes I've been there and witnessed it myself, and have focused on this issue, 'Library' being the word

He does have good attacking instincts though Ivor.
Don't you think he could be coached to improve on the crossing?

Not an ideal solution by any means I'll grant you, hasn't got enough skill to beat top defenders on a regular basis....was thinking he'd be useful in games that are congested in the middle and in need of some width.

Who is the boss lads??? everyone is making rightful excuses that we cant cross the ball or we cant do this and we cant do that and he is rubbish etc etc etc......QUESTION.... If you are the boss would you have not sorted it all out by now to at least a reasonable level and would you not have brought a few more players in knowing that we will have to play extra games that comes with extra chances of injuries.....Ask yourself that question because as far as i can see the manager and his staff are doing a poor job at the moment...

...and what was the budget at the start of the summer, both wages and transfer pot.....and which players were prepared to join us....and if I, or anyone else, was manager would they still be prepared to join us?
....and how do we measure what kind of a job I and my staff are doing? Because I'm only taking the job if I am judged against my peers with all factors considered.
Am I right in thinking we have one of, if not the lowest wage budget in the Prem?
Am I right in thinking that we spent the 2nd lowest amount on agents in the Prem despite bringing in 8 players (6 transfers and 2 loans)?
Do I have to listen to the utter cock you spout from behind the duggout?

dont give me that old pony what was the budget <doh> stop making excuses as you as well as many others complain nearly every week about cant cross the ball and all the other excuses. If we can pay £12 million for one player we can aquire enough players for the season, Its bad management skill is that and its not as if he did'nt know that we would be playing extra games...there was plenty of us saying we are short on players and its a dangerous situation to be in so why try to be clever and play with a small squad. It bloody stupid....and how long now have we seen us rubbish at certain things like crosses or set pieces to name but two? He has had more than enough time to sort it out and he hasn't and why is that? budget is no excuse we have plenty of money.. £15 million profit for a start....<ok>
