Simple question.... How could fans get ownership or part ownership of the club without having a huge wad of cash ?
Okay, you have posted that once before (about the damage to the club) and it an understandable position, except that AA seems intent on doing that anyway. Were the things said, that cause such concern, made by one, the other or both sides? I would seriously hope that the campaign took no-one who would be so foolish to make such comments; although we are all aware that AA will say what the hell he likes â so he should be accountable. Itâs easy to say it is easy to say publish and be damned if you donât know whatâs in them, but if you publish the full minutes and block out the offending comments, but leave the name of the speaker, then some information will become public and we will know who the knob(s) were, which isnât a bad thing is it? This is what was promised.
Why not organise a "fans conference" inviting all groups to participate and from that form the trust? Maybe that way everyone could work together with one objective instead of focusing on the name change. Everyone wins.
I have always said that I will not renew my season pass if we are called Hull Tigers, you will never have seen or heard me say anything else. In early October, I was told that no single issue group would get support from Supporters Direct (SD) and I made it clear that whilst I support the campaign and I signed the petition, I would not join CTWD as I believe that: A: Assem Allam would not talk to members of CTWD B: That SD would not provide support I was asked to clarify the position regarding Supporters Direct by others who wish to see an active trust but who hold a different view regarding the name change. I happen to have contacts (solicitors) who have offered to meet (free of charge) with any groups interested in forming a trust, to introduce groups to other trust group members from around the country. They advised setting up a fans conference. That offer still stands. I do not want to be on the board or committee of any trust. I do not want to be anything other than a member of an active trust that can safeguard the future of the club. In 2010 I have to admit that I quite fancied the idea of being on the board of Hull City, but I don't now, I wouldn't wish it on my worse foe. If I challenge posts on here, so what, that's my right as a poster.
Not you no, but some definitely give that impression with their need for conspiracy towards an organisation who are totally open and honest, and are even happy for everyone currently involved to be voted out entirely if that was what people wanted. Obsessed with my age! You were convinced I was an old fart, stuck in my ways and harking back to the 'good old days', turned out you were wrong on that as well as everything else and now all you do is try and make a big deal out me being 20. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/200218-How-old-are-you-geezers/page31?p=4437674#post4437674 So you're 6 years older than me, congrats
That wasn't really my question and I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm way out of the loop. I'm just wondering since you said "Maybe that way everyone could work together with one objective instead of focusing on the name change" I'm wondering what else is there to focus on other than the name change?
