I think us old uns were much more original with the songs. I loved 'We'll take more care of you, Archiebald, Archiebald', from an airline advert but I can't remember which airline!
Nice one Cyril was from a Spillers flour ad with the little flour graders, one called Cyril who was the best grader hence nice one Cyril.

The same's true at a lot of clubs - Arsenal fans have "Are you watching Tottenham?", Manks have "Stand up if you hate Scousers", whilst Cheltenham have "Stand up if you actually wanted to live in this dreary hellhole of middle class oblivion."

Going to watch it later. Wasn't long ago Friedel and King were on it so it's good to see a continuation and an opportunity for some good publicity which is a change for us lately.

Even my girlfriend was quite shocked by the draw - she thinks it is a fix.

Supposedly cabaye is one of our top targets in January.

So, how do we make space? Is capoue seen as a CD in the future? Or is it goodbye to one of our midfielders?

My bet is on the latter, with Sig making way.

Too true and well said. There are certain great servants of the club that would be slagged off regularly if they were around today. But back to songs...

"Jimmy, Jimmy Neighbour, Jimmy Neighbour on the w-ing".

It's important to pronounce "wing" in two different parts. Difficult to explain if you haven't heard it. Of course this song was particularly important in picking out our next winger - had to have the right name, so until we found someone that fitted in with the song they were obviously not suitable. Luckily we then found...

"Peter, Peter Taylor, Peter Taylor on the w-ing".

Yeah, wouldn't read too much into Lg pos, its been a bit iffy this season because of the Cups they're in...one less now! Its suffered a bit as Kinnear is on a silverware hunt it seems...dunno why, the Kent Senior being the only realistic one! Still got the best defensive record in the league having only conceded 9 league goals.

Yeah,Sutton's defence can be dodgy,at times, having said that,we are 4th for in the defence records for goals against, the plus is we have scored freely up until the last few games, league is shaping up now.
