This won't be a tough game at all. Remind yourself of when we were in Burnley's position 2 years ago. The last thing on our mind was putting together a decent cup run.

But there is also the element of wanting to test yourselves against a PL side.

Got to agree, it would be a tough game but Burnley's minds will be on the league which may well reflect on their team sheet.

Has to be a full strength team. They're top of the Championship for a reason.

Also for Danny Ings & Sam Vokes, both Southampton lads.

Finally, the proper cup is here. The one we're going to win.

Agree that though Burnley is a tough team they're unlikely to field a full strength side.

As for Tickets I wouldn't want to pay more than £20 for an adult ticket, but think £15 would be a fair price. Less than that would be in the <applause> Mr. Cortese Category

We won't put out a strong team, especially with our injury worries. I expect yoof + gaston.

The team I expect us to play against Burnley:

    -----------------Gazzaniga-------------
    ---Chambers----Fonte---Lovren-----Fox
    --------------Cork----Schneiderlin-------
    ------JWP--------Ramirez------Rodriguez
    ------------------Lambert--------------

A strong team but we should give the likes of Lallana and Shaw a rest. Maybe Davis in for Morgan depending on how Wanyama is.

Edit: That is assuming Ramirez is still at the club!

You expect or want? No way will poch play so many 1st teamers. How would you feel if the injury list grew and our league performance dipped. Just don't have the squad for it atm.

The last thing Pochettino wants is a replay. Therefore I think he will put out a strong side. It's not like we play 3 games in a week like we had with the league cup.

The best odds that I can find at the bookies is 28/1 for Saints to win the cup (8th favourites), that's the tightest odds I can remember since I started betting on Saints...when were in the Premier League before, I can remember getting at least 50/1....still it's worth a tenner on it, I mean even The Skates and Wigan have won it recently.

    Crowd of around 10,000 then.

Not dishing out £40 just after xmas. Bloody stupid prices yet again.

It must be deliberate, I can't fathom how they've not learnt from other cup games.

I actually think that's fair. £20 to see a top Championship club vs a top half Premier League club.

    £15 for concessions, £10 for under-17s, £5 for under-11s.

I think it's slightly overpriced. I think it should be £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for kids.
