First of all, many thanks to your mods for allowing me to post this thread.

Can I take a few moments of your time please?

On Boxing day this year, I will be taking part in a sponsored swim in the sea at Cromer.
All money raised will go to the Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association.

If anybody would be willing to sponsor me, please could you pm me, and I will let you have details of where to send the money.
Obviously all pms will be treated as confidential

Photos of me do the deed will be posted shortly after the event

Recently a whale was washed ashore at Cromer. On Boxing day, there could well be another one.

More about NNSA can be found here.

    http://www.nansa.org.uk/

    Many thanks

ps. If any of you are in the area on Boxing day, please come and say Hi. I will be the one in a Norwich Shirt.

Didn't Tash once do a sponsored swim or something?

How much did he manage to raise?

Talking about Tash, has anybody seen him around lately? Is he still going to the games or has Girlzilla put her foot down and got him chained up?

Good luck with the swim Maestro and watch out for the crabs!

I used to take my little lad to Cromer beach sometimes. It was cold in the summer, never mind Boxing Day!!!

Better to swim in the sea than the Wensum I would think.

Think I'd prefer the Wensum if the weather is anything like it was a couple of days ago AB <yikes>

A bit colder and crueler than the Wesnum, but I was just thinking of the oil and the floaters.

Just hope it's a fair sum mate. So far I have had some very generous offers of support, which very much appreciated <ok>

Would it not be easier for you to use the justgiving facility?

The group I am doing the swim with, do it every year, and for a different charity each year.
They hold an event and present all the money collected in one go.
I think you can donate to NANSA seperately through their website, but the swim money is being handed over as a lump sum, or as close as they can get to it.
