Wouldn't want somebody to threw a game for money playing for Leeds. Sodje isn't the first (Delroy Facey got charged with the exact same thing last week) and there will be a lot more being unearthed in the following weeks. The problem is it's a massive industry and they won't be able to shut it down. That might be able to stop one scam but it will evolve in to something else. It use to be spot lights going off ten years ago.
Not too surprised. Lives in SE London - it has the largest amount if Nigerians in the country, and it just so happens since they arrived the area has become the most fraudlent in all of the UK and Western Europe. http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/4591954.THAMESMEAD__Area_is_UK_s_number_one_for_bank_card_fraud/
Sodje, you complete prick. I really rated him when he came in. Shows you the greed in the game really. Sams point about African players not getting a lot to represent there country, well that should be an honour for starters. And I bet 99.9% of young Africans arent getting paid anywhere near what even Portsmouth could afford to pay out weekly for kicking a ball around.
He wasn't that talented. Even LE Tissier was doin stuff. He made a big bet on the first throw in. He deliberately sliced the ball, but was kept in play.
Yeah straight from kick off, I remember that. Sodje had a hell of a leap on him and was good with the fans. I remember him stopping to give us the Leeds salute. I would have signed him up full time, but think he had a bit of a dodgy knee? Still, a blessing in disguise I guess
Sodje from south London, taking bribes and played when we lost to a south London club in play-off semi's.Always knew they didn't beat us legit.
Not possible as we've only played each other 9 times since then Think you'll find its 5-4 to little old Millwall
