That's fine beefy and I'm a technophobe anyway; two buttons confuses me :) Don't understand why people need to pull a comment about a phone brand though. I drive a Honda by the way, incase anyone wants to comment :)

Newcastle are a typical pace and power Pardew team. Without Victor & Morgan we won't be able to go toe to toe with them but our midfield yesterday was tenacious and that will be enough if Newcastle don't match our effort like City.

If we go 4-4-1-1 with Ben Arfa taking Cabaye's place in the "hole" I think we'll edge it 2-1. If he goes 4-4-2 and brings back Shola I reckon you'll nick it 2-1.

Should be a close game. Cabaye is certainly a big loss. He makes us tick when he's on his game.

Rapey Remy. What will the newcastle fans feel if guilty? Would you want him out or overlook it? As I understand rape is somewhat frowned upon.

Innocent until proven guilty so to call him "Rapey Remy" is ridiculous.

We're just a functional, very hard working team with one of the best keepers in the league. We have Cabaye, Remy and Ben Arfa that add a bit of class to us.

We're not always the best to watch, as someone else has stated we have lots of pace and power in the team. We don't really have a set philosophy like you guys, Swansea, Liverpool, Arsenal etc have. We tend to adapt our game plan depending on the opposition.

Will be a close game but we do have some very good players. Should be good for a top ten finish hopefully.

Yes I agree tbh. I couldn't resist the illiteration though. I assume the CPS must have a strong case against him though, im sure he is spending lots on defence. Hope he's not guilty- its not good for football.

So if he were to be found guilty would you want him at your club? Honest question.

It's a tough one. Rape is a horrible thing, one of the worst crimes out there. However in the fickle world of football, if he's going to be out there scoring goals week in, week out for someone then it may as well be for us.

And that's about as honest an answer I can give and it's not an answer I'm proud of.

Not sure how id feel either. Always makes me uncomfortable when someone is acused of it- so difficult to disprove and once charged its not easy to wash off, even if innocent.

Most definitely. As I understand it there are two others as well as Remy charged. As you say it's very difficult to prove/disprove.

I don't think he'll be found guilty. Footballer's rarely are, bramble & van persie are examples of this. Bramble was charged on three seperate occasions and was never found guilty.

Falsely accusing someone of rape is just as bad (if not worse) than the crime itself IMO as it's something that doesn't get shaken off easily.

Admire your honesty. Going back a few years we Saints fans had something similar with Steve Moran and Mark Wright. These allegations have long lasting effects.

To wrongly accuse someone of rape is wicked and it is a terrible stigma to carry, but to say it is worse than rape is wrong. This is an act that changes someone for life...they may never manage to have a relationship with anyone again and suicide is common. I do understand the point you are making, but exaggeration doesn't help. It is very hard to disprove, but also hard to prove. That is why they think that most rapes are never reported. Not commenting on Remy's case, but I doubt that many accusations are false though some can be misunderstandings.

It's the same for someone that's been falsely accused though. You think they get to walk out of court and straight in to a relationship? Who would trust/want to be with a suspected rapist??? Even family members would have an element of doubt I'd imagine.

I know this is now heading off topic, so with regards to Saturday's game I think it'll be a very close, hard fought game. Hoping for a win (as always) but a draw wouldn't overly disappoint me.

Morning GCB. Back to the match and it will be close. I think a draw is the likely outcome but if we play as well as we did against City who knows.
