SHINJI KAGAWA missed Manchester United's 1-0 loss to Newcastle because he was forced to have his stomach pumped after eating too much following the midweek loss to Everton.

United boss David Moyes revealed that he was forced to leave out Kagawa as his side suffered back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford against Newcastle.

Kagawa was rushed to hospital after United lost to Everton on Wednesday night, with the Japan international needed to have his stomach pumped.

The playmaker told Moyes he may have eaten too much, with the incident seeing Kagawa remaining on the substitutes bench yesterday.

 

And quite a few more of them feeling sick after yesterday too no doubt!

 

Why does Mike Ashley never need to have his stomach pumped?
