Yet another goal conceded by palming the ball into the path of an onrushing forward. He does that so many times.
Was it "I'm gonna make a spectacular save for the cameras and I can't be bothered to push the ball round the post"?
Thought exactly the same when I saw it this morning, yes he has done a decent job for us but maybe next season we should be looking for a new keeper.
Don't see why agreeing that "MAYBE" it is time to look for a better keeper makes me a wum but each to their own. You need to calm down, I suppose you think we have a squad that is strong from 1 to 11? Anything I like? - We are better than we were this time last season, that is the first time I can say and believe that in probably 5 years we are still a long way from being promotion material, I am hoping that is fixed in January and not another load of hot air.
Do you seriously believe we have a good enough keeper? I cannot believe just how much that Kenny is liked by fans. I think he is ****e and have done pretty much since he joined
I am not convinced that Paddy is any better or any worse than the previous two. The crisp munchers seem less happy by the week with the flapper the currently have. I do think paddy is too short to be top class but I think he is generally a good shot stopper. His communication with defenders and command of the box is not the best on that I agree.
I have always thought Kasper was a fantastic shot stopper, better than Kenny however the rest of his game left a lot to be desired. Kenny is a decent shot stopper at times but other times he makes easy saves look hard because of his height and causes problems at the back a taller keeper just wouldn't, he struggles to kick it past halfway and continuously makes terrible decisions. Kasper is much younger and so more likely to improve and thats why I would pick him over Kenny. Lonergan to me was a fantastic goalkeeper and probably the best we have had in quite a while, wasn't as good a shot stopper as Kasper but still a very good one and he controlled his area well, communicated well and was always in control. Always felt comfortable that nothing stupid was gonna happen (like what Kenny did for their last goal or the QPR goal for example). Think we really need to be looking at goalkeepers in the summer if not January. If we get promoted (which I know we won't) I have my eyes on Alex McCarthy.
