Vote of Confidence in DMD as a moderator

It's bollocks like this that make it pointless having this argument. Agro's post was clearly racially motivated, but as we've already descended into the "ooh, it's not technically racist" bollocks I won't carry on with that argument.

I've voted No as even though I don't agree at all with Craig and Happy Tiger I feel their views are unfairly censored at times.

I don't care that much though if I'm honest.

Dont we vote every once in a while on our moderators? I seem to remember that maybe I am remembering wrong. If people dont like DMD cant they just vote for someone else when the vote comes up again?

There's no system for voting in mods. They need to be approved by the owners anyway.

By automatically assuming that "multi-cultural" is referring to race, that actually makes more of a the racist than Stuey. In a none racist society you would not infer race from culture. Well, thats how I was taught anyway.

 

The very response Craig gave him, which is largely why I edited it, and I suspect why Stewey hasn't complained.

Had Craig PM'd me, that would have been that. We'd have all been saved all this. It's why I suggest these things are better done discretely in the background. There's no winners and the board is the biggest loser.

If another poster fabricates and falsifies words, and then makes a fool of himself by reading a meaning into those words that isn't there, that's not really my concern.

I'm sorry that the poster has trolled the board and spat his dummy our about moderation etc, but I think the vast majority of posters are not stupid and can see (once again) who is behaving unreasonably.
