Should be a great game, but, as you say, better at WHL

  3. Didn't we do Arsenal 5-1 in the Cup, one year?

Big game for AVB, win and he becomes a hero, lose and it might finish him off.

Awful draw for us. Against the Goons and away. Park the bus and pray for a replay!

**** that, I want revenge! <grr> Both sides seem have won their home games in the NLD lately so it's good to have a decider even if it is away.

Just seen it comes 3 days after we play United away and Arsenal play Cardiff at home :(

On present form and performances, you can honestly say you think we have a chance of winning at the Emirates?

Yep, it's football remember. If Stoke can beat Chelsea then we can definitely beat Arsenal. We'd have to be at our best, for sure, but why not?

Our reserves are better than their reserves. All depends how many of his first XI he plays. Unless most of them play (and there is always a risk in that of course) I think we will do OK. Worth a cheeky punt I think.

Ok, we'll see. Personally speaking about revenge; seeing this is the motive you have, is a dish best served cold. I'd rather we frustrate them and then turn them over at WHL. Considering we have a trip to OT three days earlier, we won't be at our best. Tough set of fixtures.

Arsenal haven't lost at home since August. We already lost at Newcastle even before yesterday.

Don't agree at all, but even if that was the case there's no way either manager will play anything less than the best XI available to them. Wenger can't afford a home defeat to Spurs given the manner he threw the cup away last season. AVB can't afford a defeat at the home of his biggest rivals given the pressure he is already under pressure with defeats to Arsenal and West Ham.

So? The point is that football throws up surprises, especially in the FA Cup.

We're entitled to ask for 15%, so hopefully we'll get around 9000 tickets.

There must be more than 9000 season ticket holders, tickets will never reach the bronze members.

I would say it's in the interests of both teams for Spurs to win. Arsenal don't need more distractions that may injure key players in the race for the league. Spurs want more games to suit their deep squad, want any cup, and are unlikely enough to catch Arsenal that keeping them playing to hurt their league finish is not much of a motivation. If Arsenal do play a full strength squad, I would say the rivalry has goaded them into it, which may not be wise. They typically play reserve forwards and starting defenders in Cup matches. It's the same story vs. West Ham in the Mickey Mouse Cup. So all things considered, I like this matchup. It's one to look forward to, at any rate. As far as revenge goes...served cold is certainly nice, but I'll take piping hot, boiled, fried, fricasseed, or any way I can get it, really...
