As always a cup run would be nice but given our precarious league position it's not a necessity (a la Wigan). We could win this one, or get them back to the Cottage and beat them there but if we don't it could be a blessing in disguise.
We did alright playing two games this week (including the Ancient Greek) so I don't see why we shouldn't be up for winning this. Although I'd obviously swap a win in the cup for a win in the league. EDIT: Got it the wrong way around!
Actually, I was thinking of being greedy.......... A chance to let 1-2 youngsters join in the second win - great for young Dembele. Albeit unlikely, but glass-half-full as ever. C O Y W
I'm not saying I don't want us to win but I won't be as disappointed this year if we get knocked out early as I have been previously. A good cup run and Premier League survival would be magnificent, but Premier League survival alone would do me the finest this year.
Give me 3 points at Carrow road and a loss in the cup any day of the week! having said that win both games would be ideal
Fulham’s Third Round clash at Norwich City in the FA Cup with Budweiser will be played on Saturday 4th January with a 3pm kick-off.
Were we expecting anything else? Hardly the tie of the round, is it? Talking of which I will be interested to know who got Spurs Vs Arsenal - could imagine BT and ITV elbowing one another in the ear to get that one.
