We have a rivalry? I just thought it was their small time fans from a small time club wanting to play In front of a crowd!
All opinions, if we were good enough we would be in a play off spot now, as we are not then we are currently not good enough. Someone who doesn't agree with you is a cretin? You are pretty sad... Watford are an off form team who haven't won a game in two months and who concede goals for fun, they were there for the beating and at 3-2 we should and would have held on if we were good enough. We came back from 2-0 down, great but should we have been in that position as a home team playing opposition clearly not at their best... Our last 11 matches we have played ONE team in the top ten and we lost to them, I will get excited if we are still a point away in January and IF we do sign players who will make a difference. Look at our bench on Saturday, no game changers and we are in BIG trouble if Ross gets injured. We are 9th in the table, we threw away a 3-2 lead at home and dropped two points and a nice little recent run has been accomplished playing everyone outside the top 10... WAYYY HAYY let's all throw a party and celebrate - Millwall fans might be happy with that but as a Leeds fan I am not.
You can't have rivalry between teams at opposite ends of the table. You have rivalry with Charlton, not west ham, palace or Leeds. Remain deluded if you wish though
I said anyone who doesn't see progress must be a cretin, so not quite what you are implying. Unless of course you really do see no progress?
The link didnt work but does in my reply. The run to get there was every bit as good as the block itself. Me and the mrs at the top of the shot as the tackle was made.
It was so close, but I think a draw was a fair result for all. We had the beating of you on the break, but we could not withstand the sustained pressure you brought in the second half. I think the return fixture could be a tasty one again this season potentially with promotion connotations.
You are certainly right about progress and there's been quite a bit. In any of last three seasons, we'd have likely lost Saturday by a hatful of goals, in front of 17k crowd and certainly without Ross to inspire a comeback. Add to that a sniggering grey haired bastard in the directors box wondering who he would sell in January and a page of **** in the match day programme. I for one am pleased with our headway and I was one of gfh biggest critics here for a while
He's by far our best central defender, unfortunately his contract is only till the end of this season
He was a free agent. So unless something unsusual occurs, I fully expect us to sign him for 2 or 3 years in due course.
The free agent thing has always baffled me... can't imagine a professional footballer signing onto job seekers... losing out on it for "not actively seeking work" since there are very few jobs in their field, then being told after 3 months they have to look for work elsewhere...
