Thanks for the mentions guys. I've refused the role several times over the years since the inception of not606 for a number of reasons. The main ones being that I don't want to feel shackled in what I say on here by the responsibility of the role, and secondly by the concern that I couldn't give it the time necessary to do a decent job. Both still apply, but the second one is less of a problem now due to jacking in the daily toil early due to circumstances beyond my control. The volume of business in in construction related work bombed in 2008 and I decided to pack it in, but had to do it in a "structured fashion" over a few years. Running businesses down can be a bloody damn sight harder than building them up. I finally got out of the whole bloody shooting match (inter company guarantees etc etc) nearly two years ago now with just a few scars and feel so much better for it. Still do some private consultation work that keeps me off the board on times, but it usually pays very well and is well worth missing you lot for short while. As a result, if there are enough on here that want me to have a go, I'll give it a shot and give Sheepy a hand, but no promises as to sticking it. I've never been a quitter in my life, but sometimes you eventually see the light like I did in my businesses - when it's time to go - you need to fcking well GO! On that basis, I'll leave it to you lot to decide. I'd be quite happy to sit this one out in favour of someone else.
Now if JH comes back as HJ and then proposes himself through JH you never know he might become a mod !!! Oldsparkey for me

Makes sense really. If there was no supermods Dilli/Dexter would be running the show. An unforgiving job that deserves a lot of credit
sheep, agree that sparky and you would be good mods but JH could keep the annoying jack wums at bay............ i and others think he deserves a shot at it.......
Ultimately the decision is made by the site owner. If he does not think an unsuitable candidate is requested he will not allow the appointment. JH will not get passed this examination based on his history and the friction between the Cardiff and Swansea boards. The same happened with the Swans when they put forward Dexter and KDA the decision was taken out of their hands. I guess you can liken it to a job application, you get past the first interview but HR and management decide someone is not suitable.
My history of defending Cardiff City ?.. ok ok i was banned from the jax board about a yr ago after a man hunt as did not agree with what they said about my team ,Cardiff City . I have been offered to be allowed back on thier board many a time but refused ,just because a few jacks fear me as a Mod its no use to bury your head in the sand is it? All starts with a clean sheet with me but they have been warned , but whoever we and i mean we the Cardiff City fans choose i will be 100% behind that person .....;O) JH
