Careful with Mr Mole as the jolly will only run if connections happy with course when they walk it later. Could be big r4
I've taken a healthy slice of 2/1 about Duroble Man in the opener at Warwick. Alan King's former "talking horse" disappointed on debut behind Royal Irish Hussar (no disgrace in itself) but with hindsight I think he wasn't 100% straight that day, his "pipe-opener" on the flat a couple of weeks previous having been also woeful. He turned the form around with Town Mouse next time out at Kempton and that form is starting to get a decent look to it. Town Mouse won next time out at Huntingdon (admittedly a weak race) and the 3rd, Aldopicgros, went on to finish 2nd to Violet Dancer, who won the juvenile race at Sandown last Friday in pleasing fashion from some nice types. Today's race has some interesting newcomers (notably Mahican and Santo De Lune) and Jonjo's gelding Rayak will no doubt come on for his debut run, but Duroble Man looked pretty polished last time out and can give the 7lbs to his field today.
why are all the recent threads getting filled with chat about cricket?? I thought there was a specified thread for discussions about everything except racing. Not everyone cares about it to be fair.
I agree Dave, they should make them watch cricket at Guantanamo Bay it'd be more effective torture than water boarding!
Were you not spouting off about manu the other evening Dave?...Just block me or skim over it...easy really...
Some 9/4 available about Sir Des Champs now. His 5L defeat to Flemenstar last year, who at the time (and up until the final furlong in the Lexus) looked a genuine superstar, surely puts him very closely matched with Arvika?
Fair point ste, I just can't stand cricket, but there's a lot of people who feel the same about football and other sports mentioned on here. Each to their own
Mr Mole is such a quirky sod. If he would just behave he would be an extremely good horse. He has just mugged an excellent prospect in Vukovar (look out for that over 2 and a half miles upwards) cheekily and had to be kidded into it. Very good turn of foot. He beat Melodic Rendezvous last year and then ended up handicapping What a character.
SUBLIME TALENT 1 40 Warwick, 1 pound lower than last winning mark and Adam Wedge rode it that day, definitely worth a nice bet @ 9s, should get back to winning ways
Anyone see the ride given to the Fugue at Shatin? Handily placed then allowed to be shuffled to the back. Would have won with more intelligence in the saddle
**** me I can't half put the mockers on 'em. Mind you, it was good to see him get up - could've broken his neck there.
