I like this comment on the Blue Moon forum - Extremely valuable point against IMO the best team we've played all season bar Bayern.
I felt it was a bit impolite for the fans not to fall down when machine-gunned by Osvaldo. Seriously-- he just skinned arguably the best central defender in the world so badly that he doesn't just fall down, but falls down stumbling into Milner thus eliminating two defenders in one blow and then curls (not chips-- CURLS) one in over a 6' 8" keeper. How is it possible that the imaginary bullets fired from his imaginary machine gun would be impotent? No. When Osvaldo shoots, you fall down!
Thought we were excellent today, certainly one of the best games all season. Thought Cork had an outstanding game, as did Osvaldo, Lallana, Shaw & S.Davis. Speical mention for Calum Chambers; excellent performance in only his 4th PL appearence against some of the best players in the world. Should have scored mind!
Jack cork was imperious today. I've been a massive backer of Wanyama, but I would start cork every game if he keeps putting in performances like that. He was incredible.
Agree with the sentiments on here. An uplifting display from the players after a nervous opening 15 minutes. Think the crowd started off pretty subdued too and I feared the worst after another disappointing soft goal conceded and us barely threatening, but the players worked there way into the match, we got a few set pieces, the crowd picked up and we went from strength to strength. I'm a lot more buoyant about our upcoming Xmas period now even with the absentees. Just hope Lovren manages to fully recover from the knock he took.
Cork played well and he didn't even have Schneiderlin next to him! I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-3-3 with Wanyama in front of the back four and Schneiderlin and Cork in front.
I'd be very surprised if we aren't seeing Cork and Schneiderlin playing together for a few games. Good. I'd also like an exclusive interview with MP in English too, and then he can go back to speaking Spanish.

Enjoyed today more than some of our wins this season. Really top performance from the whole team & despite their team of superstars, was only one team playing decent football today.
Little wink in the video when he says he thanks the Southampton fans for giving him 100% support. Think it's a wink to the people who were/are getting impatient with him, or to the Roma fans?
