There was a point about midway through that first half that sums up, for me, what's going wrong with AVB's Spurs attacking-wise. We broke at them with one player on the ball and two players with acres of space to his left. But every single one of them was just jogging. And then when they all got to about 30 yards from the goal they all just stopped! For anyone who's ever watched or played in more than ten football matches this just looks and feels so weird. It just looks so unnatural it's hard to believe that the players are doing it for any other reason than that they've been told to. I watched the Brighton game before this and the passing and movement were a different world at times, compared to Spurs. Also can't believe the ref never gave that penalty against Brown on Dawson. How does a referee miss that just two seconds after Dawson's half pushed over by him?
He then went on to give a foul against Dawson for something unidentifiable against Brown shortly after. There's no consistency with these things at the moment.

Ithink weve done ok...looked to play with speed and created chances...3rd match in a row where I see improvement and a cause fkr optimism. ...coys
Capoue and Paulinho look really pissed off before the kick-off for the second half. That bodes well...
Get in, rubbish goal but i'll take anything at the moment, even OGs. 5 goals from inside the box prior to today, 2 more today
