Stoke come from behind to go 2-1 ahead against Chelsea. 40 minutes left to go, though.

4 more years..... what a pleasant thought!

I think the size of the rebuilding job at Old Trafford has dawned on most sensible Utd fans, unfortunately for Moyes its his mess to sort out but he will get the backing he needs without a doubt

Which is where he'll get found out, he can't rebuild it imo, doesn't know his best team now and doesn't know what to do with backing, he's never had it before! I heard pundits on BT today saying and obviously believing United are in transition, no depth on the bench...its the same team that won the title 6 months ago with spare change! 6 months is a long time in football, but that is some change.

The SAF v Moyes comparison, with virtually the same side, just goes to show how important the manager is in the modern game. A good one can get a team of okay-players to win the league, and an average one will make those same players (and the team) look average.

Moyes is an average manager.

People bang on about how well he did at Everton, but forget that Everton is still a big club. The fact is, he should have done better with Everton, and he didn't, because he couldn't.

Woo hoo!!!

Are you watching Ozzie, Drogs, Robbie, and DL?

You can't even beat Stoke City! What a joke!

Still think The Not-So-Special One's return was a good thing?

Thought not.

Chelsea's first defeat to Stoke City in 38 years!

Welcome back, Jose!
<laugh>

Not quite so smug, now.

Chelsea lose, Man Utd lose, Norwich beat West Brom away and Palace beat Cardiff, both without conceding.
Glad I'm not a betting man.
Good day for City and the Mousers, so far. All going wrong for West Ham and Man Utd.

Edit: Not even a good day for City. Drew with Southampton. <doh> Arsenal will be ecstatic.

With two of our main rivals losing (Chelsea and United) and the other main rival drawing (£ity), we need to capitalize against Sunderland to keep our title chances alive.

I wonder what luck or dodgy ref decision Chelski will have to win the game at Stoke? After all, this week's stories about how great Moanrinho is have probably been written already.

Well I'm rubbish at this prediction lark. Thank goodness!

Losing at Stoke would have got lesser Chavski managers the tic-tack, I wonder how long Maureen has left before Mad Dog has a fit?

"The SAF v Moyes comparison, with virtually the same side, just goes to show how important the manager is in the modern game."

As I said the other day, if the Fergie factor is worth 15 pts, then Man Utd are looking at 75 pts at best.

I hear only 2 teams in the PL this season have not scored more than 2 goals so far in a match.Newcastle and......Spurs!

Well done to Kevin Davies with a bomb for Preston at Wycombe.38 isn't he?

Think of it this way, the only Premier League players who were alive at that time were Brad Friedel, Ryan Giggs, Kevin Phillips, Steve Harper and Jaskelainen

Or, to look at it another way, AVB hadn't been born yet, Roberto Martinez was 1, Brendan Rodgers was 2, Mauricio Pochettino was 3.
