Osvaldo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, i'm taking a great dislike to Gazzaniga. He's hugging the goal line and is terrified to come out and it's causing us all sorts of problems. Other then that, a superb performace all around. I'm proud of the lads.
He has probably decided not to take the risk, as long as our defenders are doing their thing it's probably ok. No point criticising Gazza for not being an experienced confident GK. Anyway, things are better than expected. Our back four and Osvaldo are cheering me up a lot.
Well it did. For example, that one time Aguero or Negredo, can't really recall who, failed the control the ball in a clear goalscoring opportunity, and Gazzaniga did nothing but observed, he should be there under his feet.
If the goalie lacks confidence it is best that he stays on the line. He may even be under instructions....Gazza stays on the line and defence does the rest.
Exactly, better he plays conservatively until he gets settled. The last thing the defence wants is an unfamiliar keeper rushing off his line all the time.
