get the **** out of this club.

None are good enough for Premier League never mind Man Utd.

The one thing that pissed me off about Sir Alex was the refusal to strengthen our dire midfield so I don't blame Moyes for this mess. He needs time to sort it out.

Berb you could add about 4 more names to that list <ok>

P.S. Your sig - maybe starting to come true. Shelvey is far better than Cleverly.

they were good enough wen Fergie was manager, you all thought this team was good enough then, guess Fergie was that extra 25% after all

Jones is a clown, a DM CB that tries to play like a fullback<laugh>

Every defender makes the odd mistake. Not every midfield fails to create many chances or score many goals game after game and season after season.

Shelvey is scoring for fun, has a team built around him, and has his name sung by fans. Who the **** is Cleverley?

Man Utd's midfield is just horrible. I don't think it's ridiculous for me to say that if Cabaye and Tiote put on Man Utd shirts, they'd improve your team dramatically.

That's not a criticism of players like Jones, who shouldn't be playing there. He's a centre back, and it pisses me off Man Utd (and a lot of top clubs) like ruining good English players by wrecking them positionally... Remember Alan Smith, the ferocious Leeds United striker? Or should I say, that woeful MK Dons midfielder who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...

Another problem Man Utd have had is signing from lower down the league, rather than challenging other big clubs for top talents abroad, even if their record in that regard is patchy at best. It's just promoted averageness. No wonder Giggs still gets a game <doh>

Yeah, because Swansea fans know he's ****. They can't stand him, he creates more goals for the opposition than he does for City.

That said, he is only very marginally worse than Cleverly.

Both aren't great but Shelvey can at least win you a game out of nothing. He has many flaws but he does have flair and a boot on him.

I actually rated Cleverley until recently.

I was at the England v Germany game and he looked out of his depth and quite frankly way, way below par for a top side let alone international level.

People around me were screaming for him to be taken off. Still think he can improve into a good player though, just not top 6.

I wouldn't dream of saying Cleverley is good enough but shelvey is utterly ****e. Provides a steady supply of ball to the opposition.

A bit like, what's that bloke called? Tom something or other?

Anyway, pointless point scoring exercise. The truth is the op is correct on those four players and there are more than can join the list.

Be nice if people now accepted what an absolute genius of a football manager Alex Ferguson is, eh?

Unfortunately he was way too complicit with the parasite American owners and so let his midfield turn to dog **** while protecting their money. Leaving Moyes an near impossible job.

Impossible because there are too many ****ing idiots out there who think it should be just a case of 'carry on as you were boys' and that's it.
