First of all, mods please feel free to delete this thread if it causes offence.

First of all, many thanks to your mods for allowing me to post this thread.

Can I take a few moments of your time please?

On Boxing day this year, I will be taking part in a sponsored swim in the sea at Cromer.
All money raised will go to the Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association.

If anybody would be willing to sponsor me, please could you pm me, and I will let you have details of where to send the money.
Obviously all pms will be treated as confidential

Photos of me doing the deed will be posted shortly after the event

Recently a whale was washed ashore at Cromer. On Boxing day, there could well be another one <yikes>

More about NNSA can be found here.

    http://www.nansa.org.uk/

    Many thanks

ps. If any of you are in the area on Boxing day, please come and say Hi. I will be the one in a Norwich Shirt.

I would rather suffer the swim than wear that shirt

The good news is that there is still plenty of time to donate if you wish to, and that my speedos area ready to go.

The bad news (for me and others watching) is that the swim is still on, despite the weather reports suggesting that it maybe a tad breezy and a high tide is expected.

The worst news of all is that there will be photos of the event <yikes>

Best of luck - rather you than me <yikes> I hope you're able to enjoy tomorrow and would imagine the first drink you have after the event will be the finest you have ever tasted!

Got a feeling it may well be either a cup of hot chocolate, or a cup of Bovril <laugh>
