if the unfounded stories making the rounds are true. That Fergie promised RvP that he'd be there a few more years and apologised to him when he did retire and that RvP is not happy with Moyes training methods. Am not saying whether any of this is true or not, just wondering would you take him back if he was wanting out and would go back to Arsenal?
Is that true that Saffa betrayed Judas. I would love a link to that. Ozil+Rvp= very good title chance
I can't see it happening. IF it happened and he said the right things and came back and worked hard to fit into the team rather than thinking he is the main man, then i'd support him like i do all Arsenal players.
Apparently the story comes from lawro who's hearing it from journos who follow United., Of course it could all be complete tosh. Anyhoo. the link. http://thebusbybabe.sbnation.com/20...van-persie-transfer-request-manchester-united
van Persie would improve anyone's PL chances except maybe city's and Liverpool, City cos they have a lethal strike force already, Liverpool cos they are already scoring bags of goals but have no chance of winning the PL either way
Nope, he left us when we needed him, why should we take him back when things are looking good? Let him enjoy playing with Cleverly, Jones, and Wellbeck. :-D.
Nah, we moved on. Also got a feeling that he will ruin this current team spirit we have going on. There were some few stories doing the round about him and various players not getting on.
I understand your feelings on it though if he came back he'd replace Giroud like for like and improve your team, but yeah I totally see why you think he should reap the rewards of his wanting to United
Good point, things are going excellently, wouldn't want to mess with that. Aint broken dont fix it. A few nice signings jan maybe though
I think Utd are beginning to experience what it's like to have an injured RVP on their hands. He's 30 now and doesn't have the body of a robust injury free 30 year old either, so his stock is falling. Whilst he can still do a good job I wouldn't want him back. It would mean that a position that we need filling for the long term would be taken up with an aging whinging self interested prick. His comments recently about not giving Arsenal any respect when he scored against us because he hadn't received any respect from Arsenal was the final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned and showed a massive amount of contempt for the club that gave him his career and stuck by him when he was injured. He's severed his ties with Arsenal so **** him.
RVP hates Ramsey, I wouldn't want to ruin his good form at the moment and it would spoil the team spirit we have going on, so no.
RVP celebrations when he scored against us were statement, RVP cares nothing for Arsenal and none of us should be surpised in this money dominated game full of greedy players and even greedier owners. He's injured now and we all know he's fragile so no I wouldn't take him back under any circumstances, as A87 says we should move forward and look to the future
