Thank you ! I'd like to say that your post ^^^^^ has been very useful - but -
that would be like admitting that I am indeed at it with my neighbour's ex hairdresser.

nb - and if you continue to be so helpful I will consider charging a handling fee for the tickets !

    enjoy !!!!

    4th., December2013

    Mrs.X

It genuinely pains me to write to you in the following terms - but our
'relationship' has deteriorated to a point where I feel a need to
protect my interests before those of yours.

I feel that if YOU need to make ANY contact with me, it may be prudent
for you to do so via a solicitor. I do not guarantee that I will make
any response to ANY communication. If I consider it of any benefit to
myself I may reply, but I will not waste any more time with your
harrassment- nor dignify it with a response( outside of court).

I feel that you have continued to harrass me despite my tolerance thus
far. I have tried to respond to most of your ludicrous accusations
against me, but you fail to accept any explanation or rebuttable as
befitted the circumstances. I have tried to implore you to
seek independent advice regarding the ridiculous claim that my open
windows can have any appreciable effect on the ambient temperature of
your premises. I have even agreed to your demand that an independent
engineer be allowed access into my premises to investigate this
complaint. - I am still waiting for such an examination. I have
explained,in simple terms the laws of physics - but you have still not
accepted them or engaged an engineer to attend at my premises.
Or perhaps you HAVE consulted a qualified engineer - only to be told
what I had already said ! I told you at the time, that I had
embarrassed myself by actually seeking the advice of a qualified
engineer on the subject - despite the obvious ridicule I could have
    expected. My theory was confirmed!

Regarding your fence panels- I was disappointed for you when I saw
their sorry state in the morning after the night of the severe gales
that affected the British Isles. As I went around XXX, I saw many
substantial trees split down their middle or uprooted from the ground
    - so it wasn't a major surprise that you sustained damage to the panels.
What was a surprise was your claim that I had committed the damage.
I may not be a saintly person - but even as a young boy I always
considered an act of criminal damage as pointless. I have always tried
to 'salvage' or save and find it distressing to be accused of
destruction - especially with matters closely related to fauna and
flora ( you know that I have a passion for gardening.)

Then we have the matter of my supposed telephone & text calls to your
(ex) hairdresser. The simple truth of the matter is that there has
NEVER been any such communication. You have pestered me on this point
( as you did the unfortunate hairdresser ). I told you that technology
exists whereby ALL calls & text detinations can be recorded by my
(and her) telephone company - and that I am more than happy to permit
my telephone company to provide you with details of ALL my calls and
texts. This will prove my case.

Notwithstanding my denials that I have only ever once spoken to the
hairdresser on the day that she entered my premises, in distress on
my doorstep - after the row you concede you had with the lady.
Something to do with you claiming that I had engaged the services
of the hairdresser for a " shag a week "
At the time you were at my doorstep - encouraging the girl not to
believe me -"because he tell lies" - IF I had been, am or will enter
into any form of relationship with this girl - or any other -
NONE of it is your business. I can also deny ANY liaison with one of
    your 'exhausted' cleaning ladies.

I cannot stop you being mentally obsessed with me and my private life.
I do not need to provide you with ANY explanation or details of my
movements. You have demonstrated that you have NO idea relating to ANY
aspect of my private life - past or present- - although if you knew
of their true nature you'd probably be pleasantly surprised.

During your persecution, I have actually gleaned a little comfort -
that you have chosen to harrass somebody as tolerant as myself. IF you
had the misfortune to reside next to a 'different' neighbour, you would
quickly realise just how kind my responses have been thus far- this has
been mainly because of my understanding and sympathy of the mental
condition of my mother and her sister - it allows me to extend my
empathy towards others - rather than having what might be considered
a more 'normal' hostile reaction to your harrassment.

I'd like to think that the fact that you have provided ALL the
necessary proof and witnesses that I would need to support my position,
has not escaped your attention. I hope that I will not need to call upon
this substantial evidence - but feel that I have been sufficiently
tolerant without justifiable need....and now the time has arrived where
I need to take more formal action.

So, I would be obliged if you do not have any more communication outside
of litigation. To facilitate this line of communication, I am providing
you with an additional copy of this letter - perhaps for a solicitor
that you may wish to engage - although I will retain it on file
    ( with historical dating ).

Notwithstanding the above, I am STILL willing to come to your aid if
you should find yourself in an 'emergency'.

    alwaysright

Oh - I nearly forgot - thankyou for the endless supply of leaves that
you deposit at my doorstep - where would you like me to place them ?

OK which of you greedy b******s are also getting an 11% rise this year

and I don't mean the sort of rise associated with your utility bills

This is nothing short of breath taking arrogance whilst we're in measures of 'austerity'

I know that we are all made in the image of God - although some are more blessed than others in the looks department. (not me)
but this is only meant to be a bit of fun ! We grade footballers for one specific attribute in a not dissimilar fashion.

So what is the harm in this nonsense (speaking as somebody who is no oil painting) - we all know that there is more to a person's character than mere physical attraction (I hope) - It's a bonus if looks & brains are together.

I think that I mentioned my admiration for the abilities of Rachel Riley (off Countdown)- and she's not bad at mathematics !- but what is her personality like ? Is she any good at hairdressing ?
she could give me maths lessons any time

Although we shouldn't judge a book by its' cover - what you see is sometimes all you get ( Gills, ) (my beautiful wife ) - but it won't stop me loving them. 'beauty' is only skin deep - although I reserve the right to consume large quantities of alcohol before increasing my grades.

edit - I'm not suggesting that beauty is the only attribute of my wife - before I get my 'attributes' cut off !

The phone rings - and relief - it's not an automated message ! Oh joy to be spoken to by an actual human. But as fans of the Gills know, joy is very short lived !

    It's a chap from an energy company ( I left four years, and one energy supplier ago ). After introducing himself he asked;

Q " Are you still getting your gas & electric from X. " ( I won't use their name for legal reasons )
Me " No, I left you 4 years ago. "
Q " Can you tell me who is your current supplier. "
    Me " I'd rather not."
    Q " Why is that. "
Me " Because that is my private business."
Q " Well can you tell me why you changed from X. "
    Me " I'd rather not."
    Q " Why is that."
Me " Because I've already answered that question when I left your company - and at least on three other occasions since - when you keep calling me ."
Q " Well can you tell me the reasons, because I don't know them." by now I wasn't sure if he was on the wind up- but I really didn't want to react so I politely said
    Me " I'd rather not."
    Q " Why can't you tell me. "
    Enough was enough

Me. " Well if you really want to know - and as it seems that you've got more time on your hands than you can find to waste, I might as well tell you the honest reason - it was to do with your ridiculous price plans for my energy. Your prices at the time were much higher than my current supplier(was), and when I informed you of my intention to change, you did nothing to try to entice me to remain as a customer. Of course recent events over the last couple of years has made me realise that I have jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. Now all the energy companies are being as greedy as each other ( price comparison sites can tell me more than you ever can ).
We, domestic consumers, have absolutely no chance of fair energy prices all the time there exists a cartel between the big 6 energy suppliers in this country - when you can get away with double digit price increases each year, and try to blame it on the increases in the wholesale prices you have to pay - may I remind you that your increases have been less than 1 & a half % in the last two years - yet domestic customers have been subjected to combined increases in that time of around 20% for each gas & electricity.
I could waste my time by asking you if you think that is proportionate let alone fair - but as you have already wasted far too much of your employers time by harrassing me - when I thought I was making it clear that I was seeking some privacy on the subject of my utilities, I think that I need to allow you to spread the Christmas cheer to others..... I think I meant to say NO"

I gave my reply at nearly the same speed as you hear terms & conditions being read in adverts - with no chance for the chap to interrupt.

If you don't want to see a doctor - it's easy - just become ill at the weekend - you'll have less chance of getting ALL the medical attention possible - but according to latest statistics a 16% higher certainty of DEATH .

I cannot understand why there is a 'whole scale' reduction in medical staff ( especially the MORE qualified personnel ) at weekends - at a time of highest demand on the medical profession - especially in hospitals. There should be a system of EQUAL distribution of the available staff spread over a 24/7 - 365 day year - without any detriment to specific days of the week. The only concession to this could be to allow for 'reduced' levels at times of least 'demand' (historically available).

Social Services are no better. They all seem to 'wind down' at Friday lunchtime until Monday morningish !

Some years ago I had concern for an elderly chap living on his own near to a friend of mine. We were so worried about his wellbeing that we contacted Social Services. This was on a Friday lunchtime. We were assured that Social Services would attend to the chap that afternoon. My friend was not around that weekend - so was unable to check on the man until his return on Monday afternoon. We were to discover that Social Services had NOT attended, and that the man was dead.

I can recognise completely with the concerns over medical treatment at weekends. Quite simply if you need urgent medical treatment at a weekend and I'm talking of the sort of emergency where your health is at serious risk, then your care will be less of a weekend. I talk from experience, some years back I required urgent medical treatment that required the use of an air ambulance from one hospital to another. This happened at the weekend, the outcome of my subsequent treatment, left my own doctor with no shortage of stern words against the junior doctors covering duties in the hospital at the time. I never realised how bad this situation was at the time, until further instances started to make media headlines. Basically don't fall ill at a weekend because the people with the utmost experience may not be available.

I do think people are being a little unfair, if you had consultant's having to work at weekends who would mow the grass surrounding their mansions.

Oh hang on, that would be their gardeners job.

Although a few league points might be nicer.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25413641

Now all we need to do is tell the energy companies and our MPs (11%) and we can get the figure down a lot more.

Talking of our MPs, there's an article in the paper today about an ex peer who admits that some MPs clock in and straight away out of
Parliament - without doing anything - just to be able to claim the extra £300 DAILY in expenses.

    I'm truly shocked............

<and occasionally tell lies - about being shocked>
