A fairly easy group for England. They will qualify easily and must fancy their chances of going all the way. The landmark celebration of the 48th anniversary will inspire them.
Do me a ****ing favour, we won't have people spilling out onto the streets rioting at 4am. We all gotta sleep. Why the Brazilians playing these games at anti-social hours?
If we lose to Italy we'll all go out and smash up some Fiats. If we lose to Costa Rica we can smash up some coffee jars. But what do we smash up if we lose to Uruguay?
The pubs chuck out at 3 where i live anyway - and they'll be gagging for the money. Deffo watching this one indoors.
I see the gutter press have already started their disgusting hounding of the England team and manager: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/05/england-manager-roy-hodgson-manaus
I'm sure all the Jocks and Paddies on here will be wishing us English all the very best. We'll be flying the (St George's) flag for you too, chaps.
To be honest, I'd rather us have a tricky group. We qualified comfortably in the Euros last year in a group featuring a talented France side, our bogey team Sweden and joint-hosts Ukraine. But in 2010 we made very hard work of a supposedly straight-forward group.
