Considering we've played 7 of the top 8 sides already away from home, stands us in good stead to get some positive results away from home from the remaining away matches in the second half of the season. Also underlines just how well our points tally so far is a great achievement by the lads.

Just had a look on football 365, and we've averaged 2 points per game against bottom half opposition and 0.77 points per game against top half. If as you say, we've played most of the top half away from home, it does look quite bright, but what did Greavsey say?

although the emphasis will be on us to attack these big teams at the KC and with their quality they often pick off the smaller teams. Bruce will play it a bit tighter I think and we'll get a couple of draws. I also think we'll pack the midfield vs Swansea cos if not they'll run the show à l'Arsenal.

    Is Bony back?

Apart from Liverpool - Most of the teams to visit the KC have been in the bottom half.

I agree that we have done pretty well against these top teams away from home and our goal difference hasn't suffered too badly. In fact this could be worth another point at the end of the season with Palace, Norwich and Sunderland all shipping goals at a far worse rate.

The home advantage thing is a bit debatable. City are more of a defensive team and away from home we are well equipped to sit back and wait for an opportunity (even against top teams). At home the team have to attack more and that's a problem.
The main thing is to minimise the number of home defeats, because if we start to look vulnerable at home opposition managers will set their teams up to go for 3 points rather than playing for a safe draw.
