Actually it'd be more likely to be our owners putting in a bid like that. I suppose you haven't heard about their rivalry with the New York Yankees?

We didn't bid for Young, so that point is wrong. And no, Dalglish wanted Jones when he bid £16m, but then when he decided to go to Man Utd King Kenny started playing games with Ferguson and it worked as he's now forked out an extra £4m.

And he's trumped him twice with Liverpool in the 80s and with Blackburn in 95.

So he's trumped him twice in a 25 year period?

Those are the only times he's actually been in a battle with Ferguson, so he's got a 100% record against Ferguson when it comes to mind games and challening for the title.

He's trumped him with 2 clubs and the Blackburn one was particularly great given United financial dominance at the time, loved it when Shearer went to Newcastle instead of United, ye wanted him real bad then, gagging for him, and he said **** off

Fergie has stayed at United so long, he hasn;t the balls to take another top european job in fear of it messing with his suppoosed greatness.

What have you done for me lately, United go on about Liverpoola nd history, and when they get 19 it is all about history, when the facts suit them history is cool.:) Oh Dear!!

Here's a bit if history J, Anfield last season, Fergie v Kenny. What happened, even when we had an unforced change early on what happened, man for man what happened? We slaughtered ye, not just won, played ye off the park, thats as recent as it gets between us, but hey that was our cup final wasn't it, worst excuse for losing EVER!!

Anyone that does the same job for 25 years has 0 ambition and it happy to sit where they are.

Fergie being at United so long IS WHY HE HAS THE TACTICAL SKILL OF A 14 year old FIFA11 gamer

having a quick read about, around the web, and you have to laugh at the legal knowledge all the Man U fans think they now have. Apparently Man U and Blackburn now have a legally binding contract, and BB have to sell to them, and all this £22M bid is pointless and irrelevant. All I can say is thank God mancs are too stupid to become lawyers!

Let me explain how this works. man U make a bid that exceeds the clause in the contract. All that entitles them to do is talk to the player and see if he wants to play for them. Now another club makes the same bid, they also have the right to talk to the player. Then the player decides who he wants to join. However, if another club come in and offer £6M more than the clause in the contract, that also gets them the right to talk to the player, but, it is also going to make Blackburn really, really want to sell to that team. And even though the player may really want to join the mancs, the owning club can still chose which offer to accept. From there it gets messy, if the player really doesn't want to join Liverpool, it all gets into a stalemate. Why should Blackburn accept a £16.5M bid, while a £22M one is on the table?? So either the Player joins Liverpool, or stays at Blackburn. It's not first come, first served. If all the bids are the same, then the club will let the player choose, but in this case, the club will accept the bigger bid. So it will come down to how determined the lad is to join the mancs, or if the mancs are prepared to increase their bid.

Come the end of it, he will more than likely join Man U, but he could stay a Blackburn player if no-one backs down.

Yeah, Real Madrid Barcalone Inter AC Milan, all would be a step down from United, LMAO

he wouldn't have the tactical skill to adapt to those leagues, he knows how to play a prem league, he fkn should by now, but a challenge no, Fergie liked to be a big fish, it is so obvious in the way he is such a bad loser. Fergie would have disappeared into obscurity if he left England to go to spain or Italy or Gernmany I reckon.

oh and there are other threads on here more intersting than this WAY off topic whingefest you started so thats why a reply may take some time as I don't sit here waiting for yor post as you do ours, sad:) I guess it isn't eating me inside as it is you now that Kenny and Henry made a fool of United and actually cost them 4m quids.

Fergie has done united proud but in a career such as that as with mine in IT, if you stay in the same job for so long it severely reduces your learning curve and experience, example, the two finals against Barca where he had absolutely no idea what to do, no idea whatsoever, that is the effect of being at United for so long.

I think that wraps it up
