I did calculate part of the race. There was an outside chance I could have caught Alonso but if I'd gone for that I wouldn't have had time to hold them up for you. You was in seventh at the time which is worth four points I think? Me going from second to first is an extra ten points. You going from seventh to third (15pts) is an extra eleven points. Worth it for the point I'm 39pts ahead in the drivers championship with just Brazil left. We are 20pts behind in the constructors!

If I win, you need to get at least five less then they get combined. Ie: Vettel gets second (18) and Rosberg third (15) gives them 33pts, you getting fourth (12) would give us 37pts so not enough. If we got a first and second (43pts), they could get third and fourth (27pts) and win the title by 4pts. However, if we are tactical. One of us takes them out and the other wins the race Ps..its unlikely they Rosberg will finish ahead of Hamilton AND Alonso
And I've just managed to match Mansell's and Schumacher's records of nine wins in a season at the track too I was fighting for the lead for twelve laps then, on the thirteenth lap, the pit crew told me to switch to intermediates. Obviously, I was unsure whether to listen with there only being two laps left. however, I was struggling for grip a lot too. I decided to pit and Vettel and Alonso both went straight (Hamilton had retired) past so I thought I'd lost the race. I came out the pits in third and realised everyone else had pitted too. SV and FA were twenty seconds ahead, I caught and overtook them within half a lap. Won Singapore by 20+ seconds
