"It said 'photo' and I was in two minds, but I looked at the description and the fact it was in the right category made me think it was genuine."

    Yeah, he's a moron.

For me, Christmas is just like any other day. I can give/receive presents, as well as see my family, on many occasions throughout the year. I also have roast dinners every Sunday, so it isn't a rare meal. If you're Christian or 10 I can understand why you'd enjoy it. The songs are pretty bad, too.

Would never guess you're 18. My family has been through a lot of hard times over the last few years and I appreciate every opportunity I can get to see everyone together and spend time together. A few years ago I was like you, I liked to say Christmas meant nothing to me because it's any other day and we're not religious blah blah so I understand where you're coming from. I guess it's different now that I'm not at home nearly as often.

I like Christmas songs...they are either cheerful or beautiful. The problem as you get older is that Christmas can remind you of past years, so often have a tinge of sadness.

Same Xmas isn't about presents or the songs etc. It's about being with people you love. You only get a certain part of your life to be with people before before they are gone. Enjoy it while you can.

Strange, I always thought Nottingham was free of chav morons, at least compared to the rest of the triangle of doom that is Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. Guess I was wrong...

Love Christmas. It's the only day of the year you can start drinking at breakfast and keep going all day without it being considered weird. My family has a pretty great Christmas routine. The only annoying part is when people want to hear what the Queen has to say. She never has anything interesting to say ever.

I also celebrate Christmas on a different day with my Dad and his family in Surrey so I do it all twice. Expensive but worth it.

Ah yeah, being allowed to go to the pub with my uncles was a definite rite of passage for me. And my family don't give a toss about the Queen, so we skip that bit too. Happy days.

I've enjoyed Christmas time a lot more since I've started going to Uni. Where I don't get to go home often, and I'm always busy while I'm at Uni, it's like the one period of time where I can just relax with family and socialise for hours.

I'd probably appreciate it more if I saw my family less. I see my close family about a couple of times a month.

I remember being 17/18 and having Christmas Dinner at about 2pm with parents and then would bike it to the girlfriends for Christmas Dinner about 7:30pm.... I'd then roll home!

I used to have to celebrate twice in one day, with both sides of my family. It was a pain in the arse, it's much easier now we only bother with one.

People seem to be suggesting that Nelson Mandela has died... there's loads of South African/Africans tweeting/posting RIP Nelson Mandela.

    Nothing official over here yet.
