Funnily enough we were higher in the table before he finished his ban, so did those other teams beat themselves?
Depends on when they renewed their contract. Don't think Suarez has signed a new contract since 2012. If that is is he can negotiate a cheaper transfer in 2014 and get higher wages. If Liverpool don't get Champs league football again he will be off
If ramsey signs an extended contract, like five years, he would be worth a lot more. Don't know how powerful his marketing rights would be. Suarez' marketing value us diminished by his rep. Bizarrely Torres' makerting value is still high, cos he is a pretty boy, and sells lots of shirts in emerging markets. Shame he is a donkey and can't score!
lmfao the forum has lost the plot. then again you lot paid 50m for nando so realistic valuations are hardly Chelsea's strong point. so if Ramsey is worth MORE than 50m what's would cazorla fetch? I suppose wallnut is a 100m + player too?
Ramsey is younger than Suarez too. He is worth much more probably double Only kidding, just winding you up.
These kind of discussions always make me laugh, because they assume that a player is worth what the selling club would take for him when a player has a long term contract ahead of him, and he is happy to stay. If Suarez had 6 months left on his contract, he would be worth less than 25M, and the same with Ramsey. As it is, because both are happy at their clubs, Ramsey probably more so than Suarez, a fan can put any number on them he likes because it would take a bid well-over 50M for either club to sell. It is a very silly discussion. Why don't you argue over which of your Dads is tougher instead?
People that use "ffs". These are the type of people who I don't socialise with. On top of that you're a Liverpool fan.....
Kops'N'Rodgers, you can't believe some Arsernal fans are valuing Ramsey really high (or even considering that a very large bid would be needed to get him) and then go and say Suarez is worth 100m. Ramsey has been arguably the best player in the league so far this season and so on current form it's hardly ridiculous to think one of the very rich clubs would pay over the odds for him (not that he is going anywhere having just signed a 5-6 year contract). If we are going on what we would sell him for then it would need to be a mega money offer in the £50m+ bracket, if we are considering what another team would pay it could be less. Suarez on the other hand only has a couple of years to run on his contract and so the thought of selling him for £100m is quite honestly one of the stupidest valuations fo a player i have ever seen. If he signs a new contract then he is worth a lot, but as it stands i'd say £70m is at the VERY upper limit of what anyone would pay for him and what you would accept for him. By 6-18 months from now though his value will plummet as his contract runs down. I also think Liverpool have told him that if they don't once again make CL football that he can go as long as a decent transfer fee comes in. So it could be it'll depend how you finish the league this year to how happy he is and how hard he tries to push for a move, or how hard he tries to stay. And to sum up my point: you value Suarez at 100m but think it is completely deluded to think Ramsey is valued at half of the value you put on Suarez despite being arguably the best player of this season? I think if your going to throw the deluded comment about you should stear clear of valuing your own players at the 100m mark aka the highest transfer fee in the history of football blowing the Bale transfer out of the water (despite Bale actually having very valuable image rights, he is a commercial buy as much as for football reasons, Suarez has a poor reputation and is ugly as hell, he doesn't have this same appeal that both Bale and Ronaldo [largest two fees in history] have).
Quick question to the arsenal mods. Matth and HIAG got banned for being disruptive wums, how is Kop gets Rogered still allowed on this board?
lmao not sure if serious? if having a different opinion means I'm a wum then please do ban me pathetic.
