Slipping out of "character" for a moment, I had a proper snigger tonight. I can always tell when the scum have won at home because I live in south Manchester a mile or so south of Old Toilet on a big feeder route for the southbound M6. When they win, approximately 10% of the miserable ****s leave the pedestrian crossings clear so I can get to the pub to meet my mates (who are normally Citeh).

Not tonight. I could almost see their fingers turning white as they gripped their (financed) AUDI steering wheels in raw primal anger. Took me ages to get to the pub, but bloody hell it was fun watching their faces.

Thanks Mr Martinez! Thanks Mr Moyes... :bandit: :1980_boogie_down:

P.S. From North Yorkshire. Just working here. Don't shoot me.

P.P.S. Elland - it's looking pretty certain that Diouf has a contract clause which is on the verge of activation due to appearances, and BMD doesn't want to activate it. It's the only explanation I can see.

I though BM was on record as saying that Dioufy was still injured. If this is not true, and just spin from BM, he'll have gone down in my estimation for telling lies.

I guess we'll see in January. I've been (surprisingly) pleasantly surprised by Diouf since he arrived, but BMD seems to have a clearer view of what works than I've ever had. It's been a few seasons since I've been looking at the top six, and even this year it's more in hope than expectation, but I might just be starting to dare to dream. Whatever Brian wants to do is fine by me.

I don't rate Diouf and I don't think BMD does either so there is no point in questioning why he isn't there especially when we are winning

Don't think the wendies will take colin on,and I think Diouf's problem if you ever watch the pre-match warm up is he's a lazy trainer and McDermott seems to like good trainers which is why run around a lot Varney keeps getting in.Good win last night though against a team that won't be far off the play-offs.

Will be easier said than done. Well into his thirties, a reputation, big salary and hasn't played since end of April. Would you sign him?

He'd be perfect too. Could revert back to his bad boy image before he joined us or even learn a few new tricks down there

Can just imagine Mighty and TCs posts next summer. Ah Dioufy, top lad, will lead us back to the promised land of the Championship

Funny how rumours get started. I've read various people connected with the club state how surprised they were with Diouffy - like his eagerness to train, last off the pitch, staying on for extra practice etc. So who's now saying he's a bad trainer, and what is it based on?

As I mentioned on another thread, the official story on Diouff's absence, uttered no less by BM himself, is that he's injured. I will be so disappointed in BM if this is not the case & he's been lying to us.
