Not here to gloat, crow or be patronising. Just wanted to thank you again for another classic at the SOL. One of my favourite fixtures. Tyne-Wear Derby is the best in the league and needs you in it. A lot of time for fans/people up in the North East.

Cheers. Hazard was sublime tonight, will be an interesting title race (United will certainly not be involved)

If we can play like we did tonight I reckon we'll stay up no bother

Great game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chelsea were a class act and we did ever so well to hang on at times.

We showed great spirit and fight and 3 goals should have got us a point but we move on to Saturday v Spurs.

Thank you mate. Hopefully we'll be there to do it again next season but only time will tell. I believe we are better than our league position though, if not now but over the course of a full season.

No complaints with the result, and I think it would have been the same for Chelsea fans if we had won..Great game which could have went either way..

John Terry tried to get Colback sent off. That was why we had to take him off. Really pisses me off that. John Terry and Frank Lampard might as well have been given whistles themselves

Alright fellas.... Cracking game and could have gone either way... Heart in mouth moments when Adam Johnson had it on his right foot deep in injury time but decided to try and put it on his left! I know people still travelling back from the game after staying over and everyone has said it was a cracking trip...

Yes our players shouldn't have been surrounding the ref but Colback was lucky to stay on the pitch... Anyways all the best.. Even though I highly dislike your gaffer!

Why do a lot of you hate him? 36 goals and countless assists. Am I missing something or do you generally turn on your ex players who've been good servants?

    Is it the Spurs thing?

Altidore got booked for persistent foul play -he committed 4 fouls. John Terry and Azpiliquetta (SP?) committed about 7 each and neither even got spoken to.

Torres kicked out at someone (in a rooney esque moment but didn't even get penalised let alone a card. Ramirez dived and got no card. In theory, if colback should've been sent off, then so should a number of CHelsea players ona level playing field - but I guess we're not really on a level playing field are we?

Thanks for clearing that up - saw him get booked but had no idea what for. You're right, doesn't stack up against what Chelsea players were getting away with.
Thought the ref started the game well, but got more and more swayed by the Chelsea refs as the game progressed

It is an assumption Jerry as I can't see how any of the fouls he committed were bookable and the ref pointed in a "here, here and here" motion when he booked him!

Terry is a disgrace - he always has gone on like that in games and I hate to see it. Colbacks' yellow was for next to nothing as well but John Terry went racing to tell Phil Dowd to send him off. If we're playing against that we should be doing it ourselves. I hate to see it but a referee can't penalise one team for doing the same thing that the other team does. I'd have liked to have seen O'Shea get in the refs face the way Terry did regarding the fouls.

Leaving Chelsea for Spurs is bad enough but scoring against us and then kissing the Spurs badge in front of our fans.... Unforgiveable...

Fair dos, not like he wore a t-shirt slagging off chelsea while he was still playing for you (Like Lee Clark did to us). Maybe you shouldn't have sold him to a rival in the first place? There will always be players who play for two rival clubs and score. As for him kissing the spurs badge I don't see the issue, he's loyalty lied with Spurs not Chelsea. Not knocking you just think it's a bit sad considering how effective a player he was for you. Is your view shared on the whole may I ask?

Mainly... We really do dislike Spurs aha. It's like someone moving from you to Newcastle and kissing their badge in front of your end... You may say 'well you shouldn't have sold him' but our fans don't make that decision!

<laugh>You lot all hate each other in the Capital though mate, Any player who want's to stay in london if they're being sold is always going to be hung out to dry by previous fans by that logic. I wouldn't compare it to Sunderland Newcastle though fella, we treat each other with equal contempt, I'm sure Spurs are more preoccupied with Arsenal. The Wear Tyne hatred is absolute fella. Like I said fair do, was just struggling to understand. You must have lots of players gone from hero to zero for making Londons move though. I know you the fans didn't sell him, but he didn't sell himself did he? Your club did. Your club sold him to a rival. Maybe it's your own club who doesn't understand your rivalry with spurs?

    Trust me... they know!

Your derby with Newcastle is the most hate fuelled in England... No question... But you underestimate us and Spurs. Spurs v Arsenal dislike each other because they're kind of brought up that they have to given it's the 'North London' derby. You see the game this season? The atmosphere was piss poor. Now us and Spurs... It's purely hate fuelled and fans hating each other because they purely hate the other club! It's the same with West Ham... Spurs v Arsenal may be the one that gets most attention but the derbies between Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham have the most passion by a long long way... Plus you'd be surprised by the numebr of Spurs fans who hate us more... More and more are and i'd say it's split between them especially after recent events.

As for all the London clubs... with us it's a bit different cause... well... we're in the top 3 most hated clubs in England along with United and Leeds. Us v Millwall has a lot more to it than say Spurs v Millwall or Arsenal v Millwall. Us against Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham, QPR and Millwall are the ones in London. Fulham hate us but I really don't care too much of them... Palace and Charlton are irrelevant tbh but a good away trip.
