Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, as FF says, although tragic, be thankful that such occurrences in your country are rare,

AB, I never believe the weather forecast until it has happened! <ok>

Morning all - freezing cold up here too, which is just as well as our fridge freezer died overnight & have just had to fork out for a new one to be delivered tomorrow. <grr> All our frozen food is currently in a bin in the porch & we're hoping it stays cold all day....

Have a follow-up visit with my surgeon today & have no option but to drive myself there - haven't been behind the wheel for a while so it should be an interesting drive...

There is to be an investigation about if the man had a gun legally, why the policereacted the way they did, was the man ill mentally, etc. What the exact reason for this is not known yet but for the police to be with guns is unusual so there must have been some threats of violent behaviour.

No surprise that we had another heavy overnight frost after the clear blue sky of yesterday and today.

My daughter and her family have just bought a large old farmhouse over here that has not been lived in for thirty years. Spent the morning getting dimensions for new doors and windows. None of them needless to say are of today's standard size. Having done loads of work on this old country house I have learnt to expect the unexpected when you start to expose some of the basic structure.

Was just wondering if anyone had a spare seat in their car/minibus up to Leeds. Got my ticket ages ago and was waiting to see whether worth driving up if my brothers came with (the back up being the club coaches). Well my fair weather brothers have decided the trip oop north isn't worth the effort but I've now left it too late for the club coaches. Don't really want to pay £80 on train but am happy to drive if anyone wants to join me and share petrol or am happy to contribute petrol if anyone has room for me.
    Cheers
    Dan

Four goals for Suarez so far - you're not going to wake up a happy bunny in the morning. :(

Nice to see Everton making Moyes and Fallaini squirm - taking the lead at OT with three minutes to play. <laugh>

Good morning all from a quite mild Weston-super-Mare, I'm not unhappy about last night's result, we knew in advance that ratface would score at least 3, he always does! No matter how much I dislike him as a person, nobody can deny he is an extremely talented footballer! Damn him to hell! <laugh>

Have a good day and wish me luck on my blood test a bit later!

We are expecting cold weather. Today is -10C already and the veðurstofa says -20C in the countryside.
Of Monsters And Men say they record their next record in january.

This is worrying to me. Ísland is now more corrupt. The nation is slipping in the list. We were in seventh seat and now 12th. I think we did not pay enough to stay less corrupt.

Dave the worry is wet. Cold is not a problem if you prepare, if you get wet at the same time that is where you will suffer. If the temperature is very cold and dry you will be more comfortable than just cold and damp. Very cold will affect you but more slowly. Does this make sense?
